:good hatton and judah true jr. welters and been fighting there most of their careers. imo floyd is a natural jr. welter and would be at his best at that weight

Floyd is no more than a jr WW. His ability is why he can fight at bigger weight classes. He and Marquez won't be that far off on fight night as far as weight. Fighters like them can move through weight classes because of skill, same as Pacquiao!

Exactly. Marquez weighs 141. Depending on what Floyd gets down to is roughly 5-9lbs apart.

And this is called picking on smaller fighters according to fans. Yet it's fine for that weight difference to be against Mayweather.

look at Mayweather at the Hatton weigh-in. He is stripped down to his boxers and weighs in at 147. Does this guy really look the same size as Marquez?

    Yup.

I honestly think he fights at 147 to not cut or to cut very very little, maybe a lb or two.

By bringing Marquez and Hatton up to 147. All he's doing is not cutting. He's not forcing them to add any weight. And marquez won have to cut nor Mayweather.

And Hatton weighed 154 (His jr ww fight night weight)

That is exactly what I am saying. The guy said it himself, Marquez dehydrated about 6 lbs to make weight against Diaz, should he not have been fighting at 140 that night instead to be "more fair"?

It's a double standard, and a very irrational one at that. People just look for any reason to **** on Mayweather.

    Yup.

I dislike this day before weigh in ****.

You should fight at the weight you naturally weigh.

I don't mind Floyd fighting with a weight advantage, but lets call a spade a spade.

that Floyd was smaller than Margarito, Cotto or Mosley isn't really the point. He didn't even fight those guys.

He definately fought a bigger guy in Baldomir though.
