'Natural' he aint even a Lightweight.....

He has had to put muscle on and move up to get the big fights....just like JMM, just like PAC, just like ROY, just like Just Like TRINIDAD just like LEONARD....these guys will finish nowhere near there 'natural weight class' floyd had become a worse boxer above 135 lbs!when he started being ultra defensive!!

Love floyd but anyone that says hes a natural WW is ****ing mad!!

He is now, and has been for a long time, so stop trying to find excuses for him ducking the best welters. This ***** compared himself to SRR and SRL, what a joke! PBF would never have the balls to face Pavlik because he knows he'd be disgustingly destroyed. His legacy up to 135 is top notch. After that he's your typical cynical, modern, cherry picking boxer.

You gotta take age into consideration. When FLoyd moved up from 135 he was 26. His body was reaching it's absolute maturity and he was outgrowing the weight.

When Marquez left 126 he was 33 years old and not having any trouble making the weight. in his 2 fights before the move up he was about 2 pounds under the weight limit. He moved up for bigger money fights but could have easily kept making the weight.

PBF is a WW. He's grown into the weight. No excuses to not fight SSM and Cotto other than he don't want it now.

He looked well chiseled at 146 lbs vs JMM, he's a natural WW right now.

he weighed in at 146 for a 144 catchweight.

and during fight night, i will bet one of my balls that he came in at 155 at least.

that is normal for a true ww. if he weights like a welter, looks like a welter. then he must be a welter weight.

the only thing that confuses people is because pbf is a true WW feasting on smaller fighters.

he s grown to a true welterweight. against oscar he was a blown up jnr welter- he was cut and all - but his muscle wasnt as dense as he is now- there was still a teeny bit of softness around his body if u look at the weigh in. now he s a true cut no body fat , solid muscle 146- thats a welter in my opinion.

Hmmm, SO is Pac a true Welter now also? Bc his legs make Floyd's look like a pre-teen girl's legs.

Floyd weighed 152 in the ring vs Marquez, and he looked easily as big and strong as Shane Mosley in his last fight.

Conclusion: He is 100% a welterweight now. He has grown into the weight.

:patsch If he is a natural junior-welterweight, then how come he failed to make a 144 catchweight for the Marquez fight, and had to pay a fine for coming in at 146???

Can you tell what your source for the 152 fight night weight for Floyd is from?

Regarding your:patsch Please note the post you quoted was made in May of 2009, when Floyd was 39-0.
