Floyd doesn't need to be a head to head giant at 147lbs to be Top 30. He's arguably the greatest of all time at 130lbs, and can't be argued lower than third at the weight, really. People don't seem to understand that what he has been doing for years now is putting icing on the cake.
Hearns wasn't more skilled than Leonard and I don't believe he was more "skilled" than Floyd either. He would have been the favourite at 147lbs, but that's not Floyd's best weight class and doesn't have to factor into a discussion of who was more skilled. Floyd has at least equal footwork to both, if not better than Hearns. Depends what type of handspeed you're talking. Combination punching, Leonard was faster, one-shot Floyd was as fast as either.
