Is Floyd Mayweather Bigger in the UK than Khan?

What kind of a question is this?

Most people in this country would say they don't know anyone who knows who Floyd Mayweather is and they don't know anyone who doesn't know who Amir Khan is.

 

So not only is Floyd the greatest boxer of all time, he's more popular over here than most British celebrities AND he's an expert gambler who can't leave home because he needs to stay behind and bet millions of dollars on the NFL :rofl

 

A lot of people become more aware of Floyd after the Hatton fight, but it's obvious Khan is more well known on these shores due to his Olympic days, the Prescott defeat, Fwank whoring him around and his rise after the Prescott defeat.

Saying that though, your making out as if the Mayweather v Ortiz PPV couldn't of outsold the Khan v McCloskey PPV, when that's not true. I know a shitload of people who ordered the event, now i know that's not enough to beat the Khan PPV buy's, but from my understanding there seemed a bit more of a buzz over here about the Mayweather fight than there was when Khan fought McCloskey

 

i dont know anybody who ordered the khan fights on primetime but i know about 5 or 6 different people who ordered the Mayweather fight and more people were talking about Mayweather being back. Khans only known here for olympics and stuff but Mayweather is definitely the bigger draw, if Khan fought over here and mayweather fought over here on the same day different venues Mayweather would sell more tickets.
