Is Floyd Mayweather fight ever capable of a FOTY candidate?

Pacquiao would bring out the best in Mayweather, and it would be a war!! I have no doubt Pacquiao-Mayweather would be FOTY. Mosley and Mayweather would be good too but Mosley is flat footed alot and it would be a good fight but Pacquiao brings that pressure and workrate would make Mayweather throw punches like never before

 

cotto mosley pac and williams would all be possibly FOTY candidates....its been a while since floyd has fought someone on his level so people forget how great the man is...and when you put two great fighters in the ring together it has no choice but to be a FOTY candidate

B/c you guys only consider Gatti - Ward type fights fight of the year then no. Floyd doesn't brawl enough but on a high pace skills match up, hells yeah!

If they awarded "Fight of the Year" as the "Performance of the Year" Floyd would have won it multiple times already. The guy hasn't even come close to losing a fight yet. He consistantly perfoms better than any other fighter on the planet. I'd rather watch him keep on doing what he's doing than get into some dog-fight bar-brawl.

I actually thought it wasnt even that close. I think that Berto-Collazo and Pac-JMM II is way harder to judge
