I know most boxing fans would still consider Floyd Jr. to be in his prime. If so... he is in prime for a very long time... As far as I know he came into the pros peaking in prime and won his first WBC from the division champ in his 18th fight defeating his opponent as if he was a veteran in a one-sided performance...

Judging from his recent outings... which is less dominate...
Did he move too far up in weight or is he slipping?

Too far in weight. Thats about all it is. His prime is hard to pinpoint, at least the start point.

If Hatton beat him it will be obvious Floyd wasn't in his prime anymore.
    Oscar technically retired him already.

It is a valid question, he has been considered prime for a very long time.

Glass jawwed low blowing Cotto would have less of a chance than Hatton in upset. Hatton is actually quickier on his feet. Cotto plods. If Chop chop can hurt Cotto you know Floyd could. Cotto got smacked around by a inaccurate puncher of torres... Cotto will lose his ass against Floyd. Bob is trying to setup the potential match now but talking s**t to floyd now. He wouldn't say a word until recently. So we would get to see the fight i believe.

Yes he is. He's what 30 or 31? That's still an age where a boxer has not lost anything physically and where the mental aspect of your game becomes more refined.

The real question is, if he beats Hatton as expected and fights Cotton and beats him also and perhaps beats Mosley (he might want to wait a little longer for Mosley's talents to deteriorate a bit more), where does that rank him in terms of the ATG lists? And what if he retires undefeated?

He's past his prime weight of 130 or even 135.

Cotto and Hatton are both serious opponents to Floyd, but I have heavily favored PBF against them. Funny thing is how you start talking about Bob talking sh!t about your favorite fighter, and in the same post you're trashtalking a true champion in Miguel Cotto.
Both Cotto and Hatton poses threats to PBF and we all know it.

    I agree.

Any decline in speed you see or power is due to him moving up in weight. He is still in his physical prime, and the more he matures the better he gets mentally.

But not as much in the lower weight classes...I think Floyd is getting past his prime...I don't think he will be getting any better...

Style wise.. Hatton is quickier and have a higher chance landing something big.

Cotto's only threat is the left hook. You can't beat mayweather with ONE PUNCH...

They are both serious threats I agree but I can't imagine them being as vegas faves.
