Mike Tyson was once unbeatable, but he really beat himself against Buster Douglas. Some thought Roy Jones Jr. was unbeatable. And there were some who thought Mosley was unbeatable back in the 2001. I just think with Mayweather's safety first style it makes him extremely difficult to beat.

Yes, Floyd Mayweather Jr. is unbeatable at this point in time with the opposition available to him. Shane isn't going to beat him, Manny can't beat him, and I can't think of anybody @ 47 right now who can beat him.

Nope. Castillo beat him, so others can as well.

Not Tyson. His prime was like 86-88. He started slipping really after the Spinks fight by believing he was "unbeatable" and didn't have that fire in him no longer. As far as Jones, he was by DQ but that's still a loss.

    :good

Great first statement! I doubt Floyd loses but it's still possible.

TBH, I'm a big Floyd fan and still had Castillo winning the first fight.

He did beat himself but even a prime Tyson wasn't "unbeatable". Yeah in his prime he was scary but no one is unbeatable.

    Difficult is not impossible.

Nobody is definitely unbeatable but I don't see anybody at 154 or below who Floyd couldn't beat and no-one who Floyd wouldn't be the favourite against.

    1) Many thinks he got a gift decision against Castillo in the first fight.

    2) Zab beating him 4 rounds out of 5 'til Zab self-destructs.

    3) ODLH got an official SD.

    4) He admitted he had a tough time when he turned into a brawler fighting the journeman Augustus.

No-one is unbeatable. Whenever a fighter is still unbeaten it seems a lot of fans assume that makes them unbeatable until the day finally comes.

That said I can't think of anyone around at the moment that I'd favour over him. I'd even pick him over Pac (Floyd's not going to charge on in like Hatton or Cotto and he's not going to stand there arms up being hit for 12 rounds ala Clottey).

Williams would have been interesting at 147.

If he went up to 154 I see him being beat.

Why don't you pit him against Hearns and see how many people would favour him to win. There has already been a poll done and it's horrendously lop-sided. Hope this answers your question.
