Jones' resume is underrated at Light Heavy, the man beat all the champions the division had to offer and best fighters the division had to offer, he did what he had to do. Was there anyone in the division worth fighting that he didn't go for?, if so then sure he did cherry pick but that's not the case and he can't be blamed for making those fights look easy. A good example is how Tarver lost to Harding and Jones destroyed Harding after it. The guys he beat are solid opponents and the best Light heavy had to offer. As I asked, were there any at Light heavy he should have fought but didn't?, if so then sure he did cherry pick. You cherry pick when you take on safer opponents for decent money when there are tougher guys out there. Another good example is how Griffin beat Toney twice(I know the fights were close) yet got destroyed by Jones after the DQ in the first fight then went on to lose to Eric Harding. All I'm saying is his resume is packed with everyone he could have fought back then. All this cherry picking nonsense needs to be backed up with logical reasons.

I agree they picked the right/best fights, that's what all boxers do anyway. But was there any mega stars available, active and free that they could have fought but didn't?

All fighters usually "wait" on certain fights to make it bigger/better. A good example is how long Leonard and his team made Hearns weight before taking that fight. Hey, Leonard was also called a cherry picker for it believe it or not yet they proved all wrong when took it at the right time when both names were red hot, that's what made the fight more popular and worth more money. It's a business too, but if there were any mega starts RJJ or Mayweather could have fought but didn't then please inform me.

Putting Hatton on his arse the way he did with the whole corner buckle thing made a lot of people think Hatton was **** and not deserving the 8# rank he had at the time, somewhat discrediting the victory in terms of PBF's greatness. This was what the masses had it down as anyway...

nah after beating Hatton he sileneced the haters for the most part. Had he not iced hatton and completely embarrassed him and went off to a 12 round decsion i dont know
roy never had some one push him like hatton pushed floyd till later in his career and when he did he never recovered
