Is Floyd Mayweather punch-drunk? He rambles nonsense when subject of Pac comes up

Floyd is vastly overrated as a speaker.
He's neither, articulate, fluid or funny, but is seen by some as a quick witted wiseguy for some reason.:huh

Somebody in a recent newspaper recently compared him, in verbal skills, to David Haye, which i thought was an insult to Haye.
Haye is eloquent, intelligent and witty.
Floyd isnt.

 

Sure, but I suspect the values that Floyd trumpets are not the values that Americans in general want or approve of. Is this the guy, a narcissistic trash talker, the face of America?

Floyd had done and said too much to garner large support. Some casual fans will turn up waving the American flag. But people know this isn't about countries. The Pac fight vs the Mexicans had that rivalry, to an extant DLH/Pac had it, but this is above nationalities. It's the two #1p4p's facing off. Hell, Ward and Dirrell have huge support in their campaign across the water.

I knew Floyd was gonna try to play the "American People's Champ" role after seeing him push that persona in Mayweather-Marquez 24/7 [going to the foster home for a motivational speech & handing out meals to homeless people]. It's not like he ever stressed that image before. He knows Pacquiao is viewed as a people's champion in the Philippines AND elsewhere. So, now his spin is one of "American People's Champion" vs "Non-American People's Champion".
