Right. The guy gets criticized for not submitting his head and body for extreme punishment. The Sweet Science is hitting and avoiding being hit. It's funny how marginal boxing fans only appreciate a brawl, while on the other hand if its a technical fight, its boring or the guy is running.

Floyd seems to always answer the same old questions being asked of him before the interviewer is done asking the question...

I feel for Floyd asking for support from americans.... and if someone isnt rooting for Pac i dont know why they wouldnt go for floyd if hes asking for their support.

That being said, im an american and ill be rooting for Pac, because i like Pac more.

Patriotism is one thing blindly supporting a person because he's from you country is another. I don't care that he's an American he has a horrible attitude and while he is a good boxer I don't think he's ever gone against the best.

I mean I'm not one of those people who will never say he fought a WW he clearly has but he chose to retire in the prime of his career for what. The guy claims to be the best who ever lived with no reason to believe its true and all he cares about is the money.

And while I like his boxing I personally prefer Pacman so I have absolutely no reason to support Money so why would I.

I hope Vegas makes Pacman a 3-1 favorite. This is a bet I will take and put down money on Money. They know that most people will bet on emotion because they like Pac and don't like Money, which in turn will make Vegas more money. Mayweather's defense and counter-punching will be too much for Pacman.

It could be that Mayweather totally shocks Pac at some point in the fight by becoming the aggressor. Or maybe he switches between counter-punching and being the aggressor. I think most will be shocked to find out how much better Mayweather is going to be than Pac.

boxing is a sport of fighting with the fists

    or

The act, activity, or sport of fighting with the fists, especially according to rules requiring the use of boxing gloves and limiting legal blows to those striking above the waist and on the front or sides of the opponent.

not 'hit and not get hit', everyone loves to claim that that is what boxing is.... the art of hit without getting hit, its not... thats simply a saying boxing purists love to spout to make what they like to view to seem in some way superior.

Its such a myth that what mayweather does is somehow MORE PURE of boxing then what Pac does. No.... hes sacrafised aggression and offence for defence, which is fine... doesnt mean 'hit and dont get hit' is the definition of what boxing is. Boxing is fighting with your fists with both offence and defence, and however you do that to your most effectiveness is what is 'right' for you.

and a GOOD, techinical boxing match is

    how ward fought kessler
how marquez will dismantle opponents through accurate counterpunching
how mab was able to nutralise hamed
how vernon forrest was able to outbox shane mosley their first fight
how judah and spinks boxed it out in the center of the ring with beautiful displays of defence, yet with still offence as their staple.
    how Mayweather dissected Gatti

    ect, ect

i could go on and on in fights where there is TRUE, boxing at its scientific best.... where the winner is not shy, is not constantly retreating (and if they are constantly retreating, they are making the aggressor pay dearly) or in a defensive shell throughout half the fight or throwing a handful of punches a round, which is often called 'pure boxing' around here.

so it goes both ways..... ya, some guys are idiots for not liking a technical boxing match, just as many guys that only seem to like such things seem to have elitist, narrow views of what boxing is, and both are just as wrong as the other IMO. Thats what makes boxing so good, is that it encompasses everything.

Floyd will become the aggressor later in the fight...I think if Pac is hurt or looks worn than Floyd will start coming forward with a high guard behind his jab...see round 8-9 of Judah fight ...

Critics talk more about Floyd's ww comp or his character instead of his flaws... It's corny to read day after day...baseless infantile rantings...
