if you would have made it public, I would have been more honest in who I voted for.

I respect BBallchump's opinions on the forum normally and I do now.. But to me, Floyd is great... skilled.. talented and p4p more skilled than Pac... and would beat Pac if they fought in my opinion.. but Floyd is not an ATG yet.. maybe in the futre we may consider him as one.. but if he stays retired, he wouldn't be considered an ATG by many for the next few years.. much lik Lennox Lewis... so I'd say yes on great.. no on ATG...

Thanks man, but I got what you saying and I'm not even arguing that he's an atg. they're saying he's not a great fighter period. I know some may be voting wrong because of the private poll, but I don't see how Floyd can't be classified as a great fighter in everybody's book.

Maybe I'm not sure what a great fighter is. I think Sergio Martinez is a great fighter. Am I wrong?

Great is the highest compliment in boxing.

Roberto Duran, Sugar Ray Leonard and Ali were great.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. is clearly not in their level therefore he is not great, he is good but he is not great.

This thread makes perfect sense...in 1998. Of course, now it just seems ****ing stupid.

Well the all time great list is just an opinionated mythical pound for pound list. The title asks if he's a great fighter.
