Yes. The question is a stupid one, and anyone who answered No to the question is a stupid person. There is no need to debate this with you if you answered no, since I don't debate with stupid people.

i'm shocked that people actually have Ortiz as 'one to beat' for people like mayweather??
cotto too, dont get me wrong i love the guy but he's nowhere near the same level now (if floyd would've faced him pre-margarito then that would've been a different story...)

:thinkNot only is Floyd a great fighter, He's a great business man cause he's aiming to pull off the greatest rope a dope in history. When the money gets too tall to turn down. He will calmly go in the ring and beat the Pacmans ass. NEVER EVER BET AGAINST THE MONEY.

    He was.:deal

If Floyd wants to be the greatest fighter of this generation, he SHOULD beat Manny Pacquiao, the only active fighter to beat. Nothing else.

Ortiz wins a close fight with Berto and now Mayweather needs to beat him? Get the **** outa here.

Mayweather should fight Pac then Martinez then hang them up as one of the greatest to ever enter the ring.

Great but failed to live up to the high expectations he could've reached or passed. Biggest disappointment from modern times as a great imo. I think he needs one or two more big wins to truly be considered an ATG.

I highly dislike the way he carries himself but I think it's a very hard case to not consider him great. Truly his career is very lacking for a so called "great" fighter and horrible for an ATG but it's crazy to not see him as great. He's not an ATG as Holmes, Sanchez, Gomez, Holyfield, Jones, and even Pacquiao are but it's a shame that he blew that chance all because he wanted to protect his "0". Rocky was undefeated too but the difference is that he TESTED himself when he needed to in his fights against Walcott, Charles, and even ko'd LaStarza after having a questionable win over him. THAT'S an ATG, not Floyd.
