Virgil is not better. you have to match trainers with a fighter who has skill sets that allow the trainer to grow and enhance his game. Once again blanket statements saying this guy is better than that guy without knowing what kinda fighter you're dealing with is quite silly. For example are you gonna tell me that Virgil would be better for Vernon Paris or Mike Tyson than Sr was ? Or ODLH ? let's get real man...

He did a good job with Jr. and Oscar but nah. He doesn't have enough of a resume to be considered all-time. I mean, in the grand scheme of things, he's definitely better than most. But he's not up there with the very best.

 

He's the carrier of an innovative style that's proven to be one of the most potent in boxing and is by far the best defensive teacher alive. End of story .......

For your information I have worked with many trainers and all almost certainly know far more than you, and since almost everyone rates Roger above Floyd Snr as a trainer im going to use their expert opinion and my own experience to form a reasonable opinion... An opinion appears to be something you seem incapable of providing. And the fact that you chose to "fit on the fence" despite supposedly having so much knowledge tells me that in reality, you know fu ck all. Maybe you should ask Floyd Jnr who is the best out of the two, since Roger has trained him most of his professional career. You prat.
