Even if he beats Pac he isnt best ever, but it would be huge for his ranking on all time lists.

He also got two dubious decisions against JMM, then could only just beat Sugar Shane Moseley in a public spar, he then got KOed in brutal fasHion by JMM.

    Floyd schooled JMM

Oh yeah? Now, let's see if he sells with smart business wise telling Big L like Manny told Bob " I want the winner of Sergio and Miguel next" and Forget about rematches with Maidana and disgracing himself and boxing being tackled to the floor like he was by the caveman at the end of the 11th and then wearing caps with TBE.

Any objective fan and or enthuisiast of the fight game would have to rank Floyd as one of the ATG's its a combo of many different factors. Does this require you to like him no, enjoy his antics...no, enjoy what he does in the ring....no, however; to discredit him and struggle to put together trivial points justifying why he's not an ATG proves just how profound his career has been. Half the boxing public watches his fights because they want him to lose so badly, the other half watches in awe of his tactical genius. The vast majority of his critics have no clue what it means to operate the way he does in the ring. I myself have fallen into those ignorant categories....I can't stand Joe Calzaghe though I respect the **** out of him and recognize he's probably the greatest super middle we have seen. Everything is based on perspective I just thought I'd chime in for the food for thought portion of the thread.

If they required opponents who are big punchers to wear gloves with more padding, then they don't have enough confidence in their own punching power. In my opinion he's "ducking" that opponent, not really fighting him. What's wrong with both fighters wearing 8 oz punchers gloves? There should never be a glove controversy or a judge score controversy - it gives boxing a black eye.

Maybe if mayweather side agreed to the gloves he would have stopped chino with all those body shots he landed - we seen how easy amir kahn hurt him to the body. TBE wouldn't dictate gloves to give themself advantage. I agree with what Garcia said about the rematch - "next time we use OUR GLOVES" Give the fans what they deserve - exciting fights.

Hurt hands is no excuse - if its that bad then a fighter should retire.

Its fighters out there that have changed rules to make fights 12 rounds instead of 15, or dicitated to the point they had to change how boxing gloves are made all together and people are crying at a dude asking for a different brand of gloves or extra drug testing

Absolutely not. Whether he is the best of our time, it remains to be seen but his time is very short, he's already 37 years old and his achievements are remarkable but not outstanding. Either way, he's putting on a number to get payed as wealthy as he can or like I said all along, he suffers from a serious psychic malfunction in the area of schizofrenia named bovarism, he pretends to be who is not and he is not aware of this.

Can someone give me a signature victory against someone who was considered a great fighter as well ? And I mean a prime,at their best weight fighter... No catchweight... The only one I see was Chico. Does anyone here truly think he would have been a champ during the Fab 4 era ?? Honestly ??? Look, he`s multi-talented and a very sharp businessman as well. But, protecting the phony 0 and careful selection comes at a price. Hearns, SRL,and Duran are sneering at him in contempt... Sorry `victories over Baldomir Castillo (lost first time) well used Mosley, past his prime Cotto, never was Judah ,green cathcweight Canelo, and Maidana are NOT great victories over great fighters...
