Is Floyd Mayweather The GOAT

Charley Burley was essentially a Welterweight and Middleweight. My assessment is based on his fantastic skill sets and the quality of opposition he fought. He lost decisions to Ezzard Charles future heavyweight champion. This guy was so good that it was not only SRR that avoided him the likes of Billy Conn, Marcel Cerdan and Jake La Motta were not queuing up to fight him. I am not saying SRR was afraid of him but the handlers of both SRR and Burley knew it was not worth it. Though the smaller man he beat the great Archie Moore. We can all have our opinions etc which is fine but would like to leave you the words of the likes of the great Eddie Futch who called Burley himself the best fighter he ever saw even better than SRR and let’s not forget apart from all the great champions Eddie trained he sparred with the great Joe Louis. Archie Moore as well felt Burley was the best ever. He was like Roy Jones with the fundamentals of Floyd Mayweather which allowed this welterweight to beat up Light Heayweights and Heavyweights.
