I want to know your views on this, do you think Floyd is past his prime? I think its sort of an obvious question. Obviously hes not young anymore, but Im sort of speaking in terms of the physical sense, is he past his peak physically? I think yes. but damn look at hopkins, almost 50 years old and hes still going..sooooo:think

No.. He's past his peak.. He can't do things he used to do, but could have done things he did now 10 years ago...

Far past his prime but intelligent enough to adapt.

Floyd is far past his peak and yes in boxing for such a small man he is old too

Floyd of 2004/05/06 would make this Floyd look like a C level fighter. Or at best B level

Yes he is clearly old(his age doesn't lie) and he's clearly past his prime as well. People that want to see how prime Mayweather performed need to take a look at his old fights, especially from 1998-2005. Prime Mayweather would always throw in combinations and keep active all the way. Now all he does is pick his shots, move and mostly throw one punch at a time.

What's crazy is a man that's creeping up on 40 is so good that still no one could beat him

He's past his prime but since he never challenged himself vs the best of the best his body hasnt taken much punishment. And I doubt he'll start fighting the best of the best at this point in his career so he still has a few years at the top.

He's been past his prime for awhile.

He's been on top still as a result of his great skills/smarts, training like a machine, and being in a relatively poor era.
