Anyone can apply the sort of circular reasoning you described to a guy like Floyd, but what matters is that he is a supreme athlete and boxer and still unbeaten.

 

See before I think you could have said it was "perfectionism" or something like that. Now we know he's overly preoccupied with not getting hit - because he does get hit. He was running from a Jr. Lightweight. He's defense first, everything else second. It's unmistakable now. The "perfectionist" thing went out the window last night.

 

Actually thats the only positive thing he has going for himself. I think everyone respects his work ethic. The best in boxing. He doesnt drink or smoke. But its his douchebaggery that puts us off.
