Might i add that Manny has fed on the carcass twice now of foes Floyd has soundly beaten... Mosely would make it a third. Why not level the same accusations of handpicking on Manny who did not face moseley previosly as Roach said something about the balance and risk not being right at the time. why dont ask does manny not fight marquaz rather than a jaded moseley. why only go for Cotto after he had been beaten by cement hands and also make him fight at a boiled down catchweight, why only go for Marg after he has been ruthlessly exposed by moseley??? I wannt your analysis on Manny's opponenet picking to prove how balanced you are!

Solid post. That being said I still believe he has a genuine concern, regardless of how big, that he just might receive his first loss over this one.

I actually agree that fear in way plays a part with Floyd. Not fear of manny but he always has a fear of letting his haters win the day by lossing. But Floyd actually feeds of this and needs it in my opinion. His mind set is like the young cassius clay who preffered to fight with the crowd baying for his blood! its part of Floyd psychological make up. he prefers to going into a fight with the world against him so he can train off a vibe that says 'do this ****ers really believe that this guy can beat me? i'm gonna show them!!!'

he ducked margarito...retired first time to avoid cotto...came back picked on lil jmm and cheated him on the scales....fought granpa mosley because he was backed into a corner...and surprise surprise retired again to avoid pac....

and if your still not convinced...watch espn tells pbf his a coward...a COWARD!!!

as mosley said...if floyd really wants to fight pac...they should have fought already....

After being in the ring and winning a state championship, there is no such thing as coward. You may be nervous, anxious or worried about your stamina/skills...etc but you can't be a coward. Otherwise, why step in the ring at all? Sure, Manny is a beast but be honest, is he more terrifying than Corrales? An undefeated, knocking people out left and right Corrales? What about Gatti? Remember, Gatti, Judah, Baldomir, Hatton, Angel Manfredy, Chavez, Hernandez and Oscar were to put a hurting on Floyd and had a background to prove it. Then there was Shane. A brother who most recently knocked out the granite chinned Margarito. Not only that, he did so without taking too much fire. He may be many things, but a coward...I would venture not to believe so. Even if he was a "runner" in the rematch with Castillo, he took the fight. Cowards don't have to fight tough fights. He could have avoided the rematch instead of fighting such a foe. I can understand the hate or disagreement people have in Floyd's choice words or behavior but a coward is just an easy word to throw around. Like the word "busy". Everyone uses it, but it is an easy way to say, "active"

    in fairness,class can't be counted

thats like saying the klits only take fights where they are the better fighters i.e they cant help it if they're better than everyone else

mayweather has fought some good fighters contrary to the myth

Oh yes ESPN's Wilbom called him a coward and then said he hasn't watched boxing in years. LMAO!! Like I said only guys who have never boxed call other guys who do or have cowards. Let me ask you a question. Have you ever boxed??

Bc he believes Manny is cheating by the way he and his team acted over the testing. He recently said that if Manny takes the test they will fight. Thats from his own mouth. Why won't Manny fight him should be the question? How about you answer that for me. Why did Manny and his team agree to full testing from the start and then back out of that? Why all the lies? Also please explain to me how a ****ing man sues another man that calls him out for a drug test instead of taking the test and taking it out on his ass in the ring?

Yes you missed a hell of a lot bc his own team said they wanted a 7 day cut off dude. You already know that. Would you sue a man who questioned you, or would you take the test and beat the **** out of him which would make that man look even worse for even doubting you?

you like comparing floyd and pac in your points. i guess you are forgetting where both pac and floyd came from. in hindsight, its easy to say pac can be held in nearly the same level of expectation as floyd as he has proven he can be competitive at the higher weights.

however, this was not the case in the early parts of their careers. the people's evaluation/expectations of floyd will and always be separate to manny's. floyd is set to a higher set of expectations clearly because floyd is talented and has been well guided throughout his career. compare that to manny who was fighting with a crude style for most of his career and is not as well schooled and conditioned as floyd.

point is, floyd has chosen high reward, low risk fights for most of his career and is taking a backlash in terms of expectations. he has chosen to exhibit his talent against fighters with whom he clearly has a lot of advantages against.
