I think Bradley will beat Marquez hence creating demand for the superfight.

Trout is a great stylistic challenge and one of the top lmw fighters.

Martinez could well have retired. If he hasn't it would be a good way to finish off his career. Becoming the number 1 in a 5th division. Would be a huge achievement.

As long as his hand isn't seriously injured he will.

Why couldn't Mayweather "fight" again in September. He sure didn't "fight" against Guerrero. All he did was run pot shot & hold. It was nothing more than a light sparring session for both of them. Neither really tried to hurt the other just take the paycheck & go home.
Another thing is his "injured hand" ?? If you hurt your hand you remember when it happened. Floyd stuttered & blustered it was hurt but couldn't remember when or how?? C;Mon Floyd surely you can make better excuses for that fiasco you called a fight. Whole thing was a rip-off Anyone that bought it was ROBBED!!! You could tell what the crowd thought by the boos throughout the fight

Nope, he won't fight again this year, and he won't fight six times on Showtime either. Bet on it.

People still going on about Martinez? He's a MW, if he came down to 154 and Floyd wins this does nothing for his legacy. If Martinez wins it's because he's too big. This is a non-fight, people should stop mentioning it. Martinez should fight Chavez JR for his big payday and retire.

Floyd is a 154 champ and therefore if he's consistent regarding his claims of fighting the best at 147 and 154 then Canelo should be the next fight. But Floyd won't fight Canelo, if he does it completely goes against the choices he's made in recent years.

Floyd will fight Alexander or Khan - would be surprised also if he fights in September, it's simply too soon despite the fact that he barely took any shots at all in the yawn-fest on the weekend.

I'm liking his new attitude lately as well, there's a humility about him and I was glad to see him school Guerrero who is just the most annoying little b***h ever..."I was put here to inspire.." - well you didn't do a very good job did you?

Mayweather (44-0, 26 KOs) said at the post-fight news conference that he planned to still fight on Sept. 14 and his visit to the doctor after that seemed to match his optimism about keeping the date.

'He went to hospital [Saturday] night and everything is fine,' Kelly Swanson, Mayweather's longtime publicist, told ESPN.com on Sunday. 'He just experienced some soreness.'

Mayweather deserves all the accolades in the world for what he has accomplished. What he has NOT accomplished is providing fans with excitement and drama.Give me Pacman and Rios anyday over a Mayweather snore fest.

Well, I am glad that I am not the only one who thinks this. I cannot believe that so many people are naive enough to believe that Floyd will actually fight 5 more times in the next 2 1/2 years, and fulfill his contract.

Floyd fought like 5 times during the last 5 years, and that was during his prime years. Floyd is not going to pick up the pace now, and fight more than twice as often, especially considering that he is well past his prime years.

If Floyd actually fulfills the contract, which obviously will not happen, there is no chance that he remains undefeated. Even Floyd knows that, deep down inside. At the end of the day, I think Floyd values his 0 in the loss column more than anything else.

I say Floyd fights 2 or 3 more times, before he calls it quits.

I seriously doubt Void fights again in Sept... He always says he will fight twice a year then only fights once!

This. Go back to the Floyd vs Mosley thread from 2010 for reference.

That Showtime contract is forcing Floyd to fight 2 times a year.

He's said that "I hurt my hand" **** after at least half a dozen fights in his career even when nothing was broken or torn, he's such a wuss. And yes, he'll probably fight in September, against a completely underwhelming third-rate opponent.
