This is his opinion about Mosley: "I think that Shane Mosley, as guy who's 38, five losses, extremely desperate, former steroid user, could still be using steroids, I think he's just a guy that's jealous. Jealous of my success. Jealous that he has to go to the Staples Center and do 20 thousand and his gate only do 1.5 and Floyd Mayweather can generate a total gross in just one fight of 70 million and still growing." Link here.
Of course not its obvious that hes scared of Mosley thats why he uses all the excuses in the world to discredit Shane. He didnt have a problem fighting JMM a guy that was 36,years old,had 5 losses and was nowhere near a big draw but he has it when it comes to Mosley cause he knows that Shane is a threat to his beloved 0.
He will fight Mosly if it's the biggest fight out there.Floyd's not scared of Mosley, only that the Pacquiao fight brings more money. If he cant get Manny because of the purse split he will fight Mosley no doubt about it.He will have 2 options because Manny will also try to pretend like he's fighting Mosley just to get Floyd to sign the Manny-Floyd fight.
I don't think so. Other than one strange interview it always seems as if Shane was the one pushing for the fight.
Mosley just needs to win his fight with Berto and he will sure land a big money fight with either Pacman or FMJ. Lets say he beats Berto and was called out by both camps (FMJ and Pacman). Which fight do you guys think he would take? PACMAN= #1 PFP, WBO welterweight champ and knowing FMJ he surely will get a bigger purse split with Pacman FMJ= #2 PFP, former #1 PFP, no belt and less money.
Floyd is interested in ego, money and his 0. That's why even though he's a better boxer than Pacquiao by far, he'll never be a greater fighter. He's not interested in the fight part. He's interested in everything that goes with the winning.
Right. Why would a 'scared' man call Mosley out in 2006? (Link) But hey, don't let the truth screw up your fantasy.
The usual bull****,excuses and more excuses. Believe in what you want groupie anyone that isnt a zombie and has thoughts of his own knows who's ducking who.
The facts remain: Mosley could have had the fight in 2006 and he turned it down. But you already knew that. Why continue to act like you don't.
It is obvious Floyd has confidence problems and does not want to be defeated. No one wants to be defeated, but he wants a guarantee that he fights someone who cannot beat him. With Shane or Pacman he cannot be guaranteed that, and it bothers him that he might be pressured to fight because of money and other issues. I know it sounds like a Pacman or Mosley fight will happen, but something about Floyd tells me not to believe the fight will happen until either Shane or Pacman are entering the ring to fight Floyd. I wonder what caused him to doubt his skills? Castillo? I don't get it, he lacks confidence in his ability to beat great fighters. I do remember that Corley in my mind gave him a tough fight and Corley was not a great. I haven't heard much about that fight, but I remember Corley hit him with some good right hand which rocked him I thought. I just wonder if tasting punches by certain fighters did to him what Rosario's did to Camacho.
Good post,i think Castillo shattered his confidence forever he thought he was untouchable but JLC showed him in the first fight that he wasnt and even in the rematch he won but looked like **** after that he went on to fight average fighters like Ndou,Sosa,Gatti,Brusseles,Corley,Mitchell,Baldomir etc and became the cherrypicker he is today.
