Is Floyd slower, fighting above 147?

    He looked his best at 140 pounds - blinding hand and foot speed. His preternatural speed slowed a bit even at 147 against Mitchell, and he always looks mired in the mud in terms of mobility above that.

    Floyd Mayweather 140 Gatti version was the slickest, quickest, gliding footwork version you will ever see.

    yes.. both times at 154 he has not looked amazing.. and his older now..

    No, he doesn't weigh in any differently.
     
  5. Yes. He relies on speed as a major part of his defense. Above 147 he is slower

    Hopefully Canelo can capitalize on this

    Despite only weighing half way to the JMW limit in both his fights there, he does appear to be slower. Oscar and Cotto have got to be the two fights where he was slowest, both hand and foot speed.
