his previous wars 5+ years ago are somehow going to cause him to rapidly age overnight while fighting walking punching bags....nope....not buying it

But for PAc to show his true ring age to the extent that he would be handicapped, what would it take?

4 fights? 2 years? and assuming FMJ fights 1 a year and is relatively unscathed through 2 years of making pac wait. Can you picture pac getting old that quickly, so much that fmj physically would be insurmountable ?

did i say that? read my post again, i said that floyd does not rely on reflex and speed more than pacquiao. so answer this, if both loses their speed and reflex and retian their boxing skills, who do you think would win?

its not only wars. even in those onesided fights against those "punching bags" that floyd avoided to fight before, pac did received damages that would wear and tear fighters more than someone who is not fighting but is a gym rat as what floyd fans says.

ok so let's assume pac-mosley is now on. but in the process, was caught with a good hard punch like what floyd recived in the 2nd round. and instead of holding, he engages mosley head-on clash. pac received serious amounts of damage but was able to stop mosley in 5 rounds of war. so do you think it is not possible for pac to degrade in just one or two fights?

pac relies on reflexes as much as floyd is. pac doesn't have to be a counter-puncher to use his reflex. pac uses it to time his opponents with those weird-angle shots. so now answer my question, if both floyd and pac loses their speed and reflex, who wins?

floyd retired when floyd-cotto was the biggest in boxing back in 2008. floyd retired when floyd-pac was the biggest in boxing in 2010. see the pattern?

Ya in that scenario yes I could agree with you, but to lose speed , power , reflexes just in 1 fight is highly unlikely, I dont think he would be shot after either.

If you look at alot of pacs later fights , when he gets tagged hes been getting on his bike to allow himself to recover & reset

Pacs ring intelligence has improved, hes a lot more patient and fights more safely.

floyd retired/took 2 years off in 2008 due to hand problems....common knowledge....he came back for $ (IRS), common knowledge.....fighting once a year after coming back from a 2 year lay-off isn't exactly active, thus, his inactivity can hardly be called retiring....what did he do when pac refused testing....he fought mosley, he didn't "retire"

Actually even the young Pac knew to get on his bike when he got stunned.

Pac seems to only brawl with fighters who he knew couldnt crack his iron chin, like morales, barera, jmm to name a few.

With Margarito & Hoya for example he was in & out mostly . Not so much brawling

Floyd's intelligence ends at boxing in the ring. Otherwise he's pretty close to ******ed. Floyd wouldn't have thought of letting Pac slow down before he fights him.

i agree that his ring intelligence has improved alot but the warrior in him doesn't let him fight a more intelligent (safety first) fight. that's why roach always has to remind pac to box first before taking them on. pac has the abilty to outbox his opponents, no questions asked, but his heart tells him differently and that was to fight and give a show. that will be good for us fans but bad for his health and longevity in general.

Floyd doesnt have to do anything. He promotes himself (genious on his part - not so great for us in some respects) so he literally can sit back and do whatever he wants to do. Alot of boxers talk **** about this, but the fact is they are jealous. Boxing is a rough sport. People will **** on you for one loss on your trip to the hospital. I respect what floyd has done with his career, and honestly I think it is the ****ed up state of boxing for why he does it. There is no room for error in this sport. And when you have mofos like Bob Arum hooking marg with plaster gloves (And King/Trinidad with theirs), I dont hate on floyd at all. Sugar Ray said that if he made the money floyd made, he sure as hell would fight once a year or two as well. The fact is this: fighters make way too much money now to have to fight all the time like back in the day. Accept it and move on.

And poetic justice is this. Manny's life is 1,000 times more on a grand scale than floyd. He has his own island where everyone loves him (floyd basically gets shitted on everywhere he goes), and makes more money than floyd ever will (off of endorsements alone). There is rewards for fighters like pac who give us what we want. But understand why floyd does what he does.

I still think floyd beats pac, but pac is by far my favorite fighter ever since el terrible hung it up. I know he is still fighting now, but not the same terrible by any stretch of the imagination. And if he beats madiana (wont happen) I will ****ing **** my pants.
