No one is tailor made for Mayweather's fighting style. Mayweather isn't one-dimensional to be tailor made for any specific style. Some styles could give him difficulty or even defeat him but it would never happen easily unless a one punch KO occurs.

If he was, they would have fought already, and that's for both sides. There's doubt on both sides. Too many stipulations and no one is compromising.

Mayweather is tailor made for no one. Ditto for Pacquiao.

Both Pac and Floyd present a variety of serious problems to each other which makes it a fight where either man can very easily lose. Which is why it hasn't happened.

Pac Man's marketability is based off the public perceiving him as an unbeatable monster, and if he loses then he loses some of his marketing luster, which is probably why Arum hasn't pushed all out for the fight yet (a little like how Pavlik was pushed pre-Hopkins.)

Meanwhile, Floyd's ENTIRE marketing persona is based off of being a ***** that doesn't lose. If he loses, and enough people in his camp probably think there's a decent chance that can happen, his marketability gets shattered almost overnight. Probably Floyd's ego and personal life go down the tubes with his 0 too.

Short answer, neither guy is tailor made for the other. If that were the case, the fight would have happened already. Enough guys in both camps think losing to the other man is a big enough possibility to not fight immediately. Both teams will continue matching Pac/Mayweather with guys that are not Pac/Mayweather as long as they can get solid numbers of PPV buys from other opponents. Once they can't do that, then the fight will happen. I just hope that day comes before both guys are super faded.

I agree with everything you stated and especially the last part. As long as they sell their shitty fight over 1 million ppv they will do it. I really hope that Floyd-Ortiz was under a million and that Pac-Marquez will be even worst. People are not that stupid and even the casual fans will realize that they are taking part in miss-matches
