I already answered that question *****. I find them both exciting. Which one is more exciting depends on the fight. That my personal opinion on the matter and I understand the fact that it is subjective. I respect your opinion on the matter and I never argued about it. I simply contested the ridiculous statement that you made about Mayweather not being gifted offensively. As Tyson would say, it's ludicrous. You're entitled to your own opinion, you're not entitled to your own facts.

Roy Jones had several boring fights @ 175 that went the distance. The Ruiz fight wasn't exciting either it was like a sparring session.

Floyd's fights are so boring he had to invent 24/7 to make up for it

He didnt 'invent' 24/7 other wise he would be getting paid for every 24/7 series that was shown

Wlad? And Lewis had some exciting and some pretty boring fights. I don't think Floyd is boring there aren't many on this forum who would dare to call Whitaker boring but he was just as defensive so that's bull****

I am not saying that you can't however the guy who started this post is the one trying to say that Mayweather's technical excellence is boring which it is not. I AMA big fan of Julio Cesar Chavez senior and Roberto Duran great inside fighters and higlhly technical as well. Floyd is very good on the outside and inside as many so called great inside fighters have found out like Ricky Hatton and others. I don't view Katsidis and Gatti as technical fighters not really they are entreating brawlers.

A good example of a brawler who is fine technical fighter is Mike Alvarado. I want to go on record to say he is better than I presumed.

Mayweather would not have beaten Leonard,Hearns or Duran.
Is he boring ? Yes and for some reason he chooses to hand pick his opponents. Is he an alltime great?Yes but his resume is weak.

Put Mayweathers last 2 opponents in with a Leonard or Hearns and its almost a sure thing they dont make the final bell.

Mayweather won a SPLIT DECISION against De La Hoya who at that time was past his prime and a part time boxer.

This, good fighters but they don't seem to take risks for the fans. Not asking them to come forward & just brawl but stand toe2toe & let their hands go more.Part of why they're so successful they don't take many risks if any at all.Hey good fighters just not the most entertaining.Their fan bois take it to heart though for stating your opinion it's funny.
