vs gatti he wanted the fans to showcase a "show" and he did brilliantly. sadly it was just because he wanted to be a ppv star and that was his first mayor important fight. he cared about ppv numbers, his status and of course $$$$$, he didnt care about fans, would he care about fans than he would have fought barely every time in the following years like that against his opponents and yes he has the ability to do so. and that is the saddest thing, the waste of no showcasing his talent, is equal of waste of talent.

for somebody with the talent of floyd mayweather, he could have made every single one of these fights entertaining.

look at pacquiao, did he ever not deliver action in the last 10 years? and yes you can be defnce fighter, but still throw combos and entertain, if toney or pernell made it, than floyd can make it too.

 

it has nothing to do with competition. you can entertain and throw hooks and showcase more against anybody. atg are not measured if they are boring or not, atg are measured how good their skills are and floyd has world class skills, nobody doubts this, but he is noring and fans simply dont like to watch 0 action fights and floyd could easily deliver if he wanted to.

 

Floyd doesn't have to do ****. It's that simple. He's the highest paid athlete for a reason. He's the most brilliant promoter of all time! Nobody can stop talking about him. What he doesn't do is talked about as much as what he does do.

 

He'd be far less boring if he stopped shamelessly cherrypicking no-hopers like Guerrero.
