You've never seen LA Lakers fans get up early and leave in a blowout win? Seriously?

Rich people don't care about "sticking around" just because they blew $10,000 on a seat. "It's over..." as they say. I got my millions to spend, peace. Happens in many events, not just Mayweather fights.

The boring part about it, isn't his fighting style, it's the lack of drama because he's so much better than every other fighter out there at his weight. He can't make these guys better. I don't think Pacquiao would be competitive either, not even in 2009/10.

People are telling him to give up 20 pounds in the ring to "make it interesting" ...... That says quite a lot.

I guess you didn't see the fight? PBF was turning it up hitting Guerrero almost at will snapping his head back until he hurt his hand after that he letf off the gas because of his hand.:deal He even said so in the post fight interview that he was going to try and stop him but his bad hand prevented him from going for it.

it was def on the cards... he completely dominated guerrero in round 8 and guerrero was still trying, thats why it shits me when people say he did nothing.. his output ceased dramatically as the fight went on.. just like oscars successful jab ceased as the fight went on.. coincidence?, bribed to lose? NO...

floyd took it away from them and i tell you one thing if your in a boxing ring and you are getting countered with every punch and trick you try and impliment YOU WOULD CEASE THROWING TO! (i know this first hand)

floyd did go looking for the knockout but he clearly broke his hand (this is backed up by his output after the mid rounds which i feel slowed, his hand that he showed after the fight and the fact he has always had bad problems with his hand... even so bad that his first knockdown was caused by him breaking it and taking a knee)

as you will see in my argument that iv made i show evidence and facts to back up my opinions.. i dont follow my heart, i use my head

    I would show them:

    Mike McCallum
    Pernell Whitaker
    Miguel Canto
    Ricardo Lopez
    Sumbu Kalambay
    Donald Curry
    Eder Jofre
    Willie Pep
    Salvador Sanchez
    Jose Napoles
    Ray Robinson

Theres a lot of fighters i could name but these are the guys that quickly come to mind, complete fighters that could mix defense with offense instead of just focusing on doing one thing.

    I don't know why I'm wandering into this. I really shouldn't but I can't resist.

Not gifted offensively??? Neither Ray Leonard nor Roy Jones (nor any other fighter) landed punches at a higher percentage. No boxer consistently lands cleaner punches than Floyd Mayweather? There is no better counterpuncher. His deception, handspeed, timing and ring IQ are all offensive gifts that as a package are unparalleled by any other boxer.

What I think you mean to say is "I don't like the fact that Floyd doesn't KO more opponents. I like KOs." If that's the case there are plenty of archived Mike Tyson fights for you to watch. But the statement that he isn't offensively gifted is non-factual and honestly F'ING DUMB.

I think Floyd's fights are intriguing. Watching Floyd mentally and physically deconstruct his opponents reminds me of watching Michael Jordan. I think it's fascinating to watch the opponents who resist, continue to pound and get KO'd. It's just as entertaining to me to see the moment when elite professional fighters realize that they are helpless in the ring with Floyd.

They are intriguing, fascinating - but they are not exciting. That's my point. As mentioned I like watching his past fights, for same reasons you mention. I enjoy deconstructing them, seeing the areas Mayweather is nullifying

But as live PPV, heart in the mouth, laying it all on the line, can't watch but can't turn away type of event - it's always lacking in that department - I just can't justifying paying money for a PPV like it when I get the same enjoyment watching a re-run of the fight a couple of days later - if anything I enjoy it more as there's always something else I'd rather be doing on a Saturday night than watch one dude potshot and move, and the other look out of his depth and clueless

Rich people aren't the only people to ever walk out of sporting events out of boredom - weird observation

It's a sporting event, and you can make many parallels. Only a mindless buffoon would fail to acknowledge the similarity regarding the drama of the match.

When there is a "lack of drama" it is less interesting. It doesn't matter how good the team or person that you are watching is. And well-to-do people don't necessarily stick around in high dollar seats just because they are high dollar. They got other things they can do and are much more likely to leave early.

Roy Jones Jr. to answer your question.

And Cherry picking doesnt have anything to do with the team having a 50 point lead now does it?
When you have guys in there that present no threat how are you going to get mad or hate people who call your **** boring, when you chose to select that bum and hype him up?

then turn around and choose to fight a safety first type fight.....

Again show me the last #1 P4P fighter in the world in which his fans left early.... and I will shut the **** up
