What has contributed to Floyds Ticket Sales and PPV Numbers? Usually the fighter he choose to fight having a huge following so this argument is pretty stale.... you want to see What Floyd brings to the table look at his PPV numbers vs Baldomir.... thats who Floyd is... I am pretty sure his numbers with Guerrero will look similar
If you appreciate speed, skills, ring generalship, timing, accuracy and punch variety then he is far from boring. If you only appreciate reckless warriors like Katsidis and the late Gatti(may his soul rest in peace) then Floyd like everyone else is relatively boring in comparison.
Who gives a ****? The guy will still do 1 million buys + for his next fight and still be the biggest draw in boxing much to your dismay. That's what you fail to realize. You're so deseperate that you resort to talking about fans walking and him being boring because you can't see him humbled in the ring. Haters like you nitpick everythjing about him because that's all you have and it's a pathetic existence. You bring up his personal life being boring but never can say **** about his skills or the fact that no one today 154 and down can **** with him. **** if he's so boring how come no one can beat him? If he's so boring why are there twenty threads on the ESB's first page about him?:deal
You can be a big draw in boxing, when you fanbase is made up of Hip Hop groupies, and casual fans who are manipulated by the media hype and all this 24/7 shows. Without all the promotional hype, Floyd Mayweather would not be the biggest draw in boxing. And if he was the biggest draw in boxing, because he is exciting inside the ring..? why where people walking out of his fight, why are people moaning on all of the forums that he is boring..? why..? If enough people are saying it..? they are saying it for a reason. I know loads of people who are casual boxing fans saying to me...? "What round is Mayweather knocking this guy out in..?" The media is a very powerful thing, if you make something relevant, people will come and watch.
why does finding Floyd boring mean someone automatically cant be a fan of other technically sound intelligent fighters? Why is it such a sin as a boxing fan to love brawlers like Gatti and Katsisdis? Brawling and inside fighting is an important part of the game and can be a skill or an art
Yeah he is one boring ass diva being a defensive master, slick & black and all that gibberish ain't no excuse for being unwilling to put on a show, specially against an overmatched bum like Guerrero
No **** and how does Bazooka know anything? He didn't even see the fight claimed he would never watch it.
We've beem over this you limey clown. Floyd early in his career was an offensive demon. As he went up in weight he became more conservative because he was against bigger opponents. Roy was the same as he moved up to light heavy. Still Floyd showed his offensive skill se against cotto You dont know **** about boxing. Stop making the other brits look bad
Why are you so concerned about it? The man is the face of boxing and you crying about it on the internet won't change it. Quit being suck a ****ing hater man.
Marquez did, Cotto did, lets also look at who was tucked in on the undercard to boost those numbers a bit
Michigan ****** being owned yet again. Just like he was in this thread bellow where he was exposed as being a nerdy white boy. http://www.boxingforum24.com/showthread.php?t=431011&highlight=bench
This is not up for debate, obviously I would tell him to keep doing the same which is why I praised his self-preservation at the start. I also differentiate between fascinating and exciting, to me they're not the same. I'd also say a "fan" is not in a position to decide if it's exciting. The fact someone is a fan excludes them from this as well as a fan would find it exciting no matter what
