Is Floyd the only fighter considered an ATG that hasnt fought another ATG???

    Just curious, looking at p4p ATG, Top 50 lists floating around. Everyone in that list has fought an ATG or someone their equal in status one time or the other. SRL vs. Duran..Ali vs. Frazier. Sanchez vs. Gomez, Sweet Pea vs. Chavez etc etc

    Can anyone think of another ATG fighter who has no ATG in their resume?

    Well one can make a case for DLH and even Hatton being ATG at 140. Floyd also fought great fighters like Chico and JLC.

    Lets keep it at top 50. I dont think Hoya can crack top 50 at any point in time..Although one can consider him a ATG... Im talking about a real solid ATG fighter in their prime. No Hatton, Chico (RIP) and JLC cant even smell ATG status..

    Just was curious about it thats all..I just saw the list by Pacfan and cant help to think, these mofos fought each other at one time or another.

    Who could he of fought that was an ATG? Not really anybody out there. But a lot of the guys he fought went on to be pretty great fighters and champions. Especially his 130 resume.

    Good point..You cant consider Cotto or Margo yet as ATG, closest thing is Mosley when he wasnt shot. But I agree Floyds an ATG based on skills. I am just curious..

    Anyone..?

    The only guys that he didnt fight are pretty much Cotto and Margo, hardly ATGs. Kostya who wasnt really available to fight and he wouldnt be top 50 ATG likely.


    There are others who are considered ATG that didnt fight anyone else, I know there has to be.

    Closest I can think would be Lewis (other than holyfeld and an old Tyson), Pryor (other than arguello who was a smaller dude) and Kostya depending if you want to consider him ATG.

    Jeff was a great fighter but hes really not ATG.. Ricardo love him but most wont have him their top 50. Hes in JCal territory but Joe can move up if he beats BHOP again

    Floyd could have fought Kostya Tszyu.

    Eder Jofre is in my own personal top 50 and he fought no-one else in there, but many people would consider Fighting Harada and Vicente Saldivar ATGs so perhaps Floyd is the only one.

    Pryor still fought one of the greatest in prime whether small or not. Kotsya is not an ATG ..Lets tighten the criteria and say its TOP 50 ATG because those are the lists that comes out

    Lopez is just outside my top 50, but he's still very great. I don't think there are any top 50 contenders who have never fought a great fighter, no, apart from Floyd, but there are loads of great fighters who have never fought a top 50 contender.

    Genaro Hernandez....Top10 ATG at 130

    Ricky Hatton...could be an ATG at 140
