True, but when you really want to put your top ATG list...first thing you would consider as almost an automatic selection is when they fought each other. SRL cannot be that further from Duran...If JCC is there, Pernell is there... thats how I would build my list and it actually makes it easier.

If that is your criteria of an ATG, then ****...the Marco Antonio Barrera fought 20 ATGs..

Yes if he KO PAc that beats a DLH because that will legitimize PAC as top 50 ATG. I love Margo but hes not there yet

If we're going by Pacfan's list, then we have quite a few.

Eder Jofre fought Vicente Saldivar and Fighting Harada, but neither of those two guys are on his top 50.

Jimmy Wilde lost to Pancho Villa in his last fight. Villa is not listed in the top 50, and neither is Pete Herman.

Michael Spinks beat an aging yet still reigning Larry Holmes, but Holmes is not on that top 50. Neither is Mike Tyson.

If we use the "prime" requirement, then take Rocky Marciano off the list, as Joe Louis and Archie Moore were past their primes (although Moore had a nice run at HW leading up to the bout). It would also be a real stretch to consider the Jose Napoles and Emile Griffith that Carlos Monzon fought as "prime".

Arguello and especially Cervantes were not in their primes when Pryor fought them.

Arguello was closer to it, though, than Cervantes.

Genaro Hernandez is not an ATG, that's just silly. Neither is Hatton, and Oscar was well past-prime when PBF fought him plus not a top 50 p4p guy anyway IMO.

Saying "top 10 ATG at 130" doesn't mean anything - there haven't been 10 ALL-TIME GREATS who fought at that weight.

The only guy that PBF beat that is an ATG is DLH.

ATG is subjective, so maybe DLH isn't an ATG, maybe he is, but you have to really use a liberal meaning of ATG to have guys like Hernandez and Corrales in there.

Hatton, I don't think so either. Maybe he can do things in the future and change my mind.

What does that have to do with Arguello being in his prime?

It just shows how little people thought of Pryor at the time compared to how they should have looked at his ability.

Villa could have very well been the greatest Flyweight had he not died at 24, so he was tricky.

HArada will be in most top 50 list. Holmes is a tricky one for me as well.

I wouldnt go prime because that would just convolute it further by eliminating half of the list and Floyds win over DLH would have even less of a meaning

There is a list... ATG or not...Arguello is not shot and was still in his prime although past his peak.. Alexis was an ATG...Pryor fought an ATG...this point is moot because Pryor wouldnt belong or even come close to anyones top 50
