he fought and beat delahoya, or there isn't an ATG in this era at welterweight if the first part of the answer doesn't suit you. He fought the greatest fighters of his era. Except tszyu.

Pryor does H2H. He was better than his resume suggests.

Sorry I meant ATG in their weight class, not P4P.

There are two ways to become an ATG:

    1. Beat a prime(or near it) ATG + some more good competition
    2. Consistently beat good competition

I believe that, he would have been a nightmare for everyone, even Duran.. McCAllum was the same, you wouldnt want to mess with him in his prime..The Fab four avoided him for a reason, theyd all get beat

And what P4P ATG could Mayweather have fought?

Mosley, Tszyu, Casamayor, Trinidad? Are these guys All Time Greats?

Agreed totally, but heres a question..
Can a guy like Floyd surpass a guy like Pernell in any list?
A guy with good competition with a couple of ATG in resume

The Fab 4 "avoided" him because they were either retired, in a different weight class, or had other lucrative options. Basically, it was risk/reward, which is the reason for just about all the cases of fighters being "avoided" or "ducked".

Duran could've fought Mike when Mike was the mandatory, because he could make 10 times as much fighting Hagler. Later he got stripped for not fighting Mike, but he fought Hearns instead.

Leonard was largely inactive during this time period.

Hagler was a middleweight. McCallum was a junior middleweight until after Hagler retired.

Hearns-McCallum at 154 in the mid 80s would've been great.

I agree with Hagler. Although SRL has stuck long enough to make the fight happen, the story with Duran backin out was what prompted this he was avoided story. I think McCallum and Hearns would have abeen a war similar to teh Hagler fight, I think Mike would have done th same
he had an unbelievable chin, great technical skills and would have killed Hearns torso

Mosley was the closest one in his prime, he would have been his greatest foe at 135-140

I hate to be the one that tell you this, but at least 8 to 10 fighters that has fought in the past 15 years will soon be entering that group...If you look at that list there were only a few active fighters on the list, so if you think of any of the fighters active now as all time greats the chances are they have beat an ATG:good

I wished that fight had happened, but they never could get HBO and ShowTime to agree on terms.
