The huge difference between them and Mayweather as it relates to this thread is that Calzaghe and Pacquiao never returned to the lower division to defend the title after scooping up the title the next division north.

Lies. PAC won the "154 title" against Marg and dropped back down.

You need some consistency with your "accurate comments."

is pedjr the only boxer in history to demand a c/w in a div both he and the opponent are champs?

pedjr draining a nobody to a corpse could be a boxing record who knows?

trick question for you: is bradley slick?

what floyd is doing is unprecedented in boxing. if he beats maidaina he will be a two belt world champion in two different weight classes.

with options to unify with the wbo and ibf champs if deemed necessary. at 37.

Calzaghe was ring champ at both 168 and 175 at the same time. Pacquiao was the WBC champ at JMW and the WBO champ at WW at the same time. Broner was the WBA champ at WW and the WBC champ at LW at the same time. So no, Mayweather is not the only modern fighter to be champ in two divisions at the same time. These are facts.

wrong again we are not talking about having a title at 147 and 154 or 135 and 147.

we are talking about a fighter unifying two titles in two seperate weight classes. joe did not win two titles at 175 ( wba, wbc, ibf) and two titles at 168, and then defend them..get ghost with the lies.

    Yes.

But they never returned to defend that title (Pac didn't drop to 147 to defend his WBO and then back up to 154 to defend his WBC, he just vacated it; just like Hatton didn't ever return to 147 to defend his WBA he won from Collazo, he just vacated it).

So, you just didn't understand my original "accurate comments."

Roy Jones was Ring LHW champ and WBA HW Champ at the same time...He also went right back down and beat #1 Tarver at LHW.

Probably doesn't qualify as dominating though.
