PBF is better than Wald, but I halfway see the connection there.

Its a fair comparison. Along with Pacquiao and Vitali they're surely the most dominant 4 fighters in boxing atm

Wlad and Floyd both have great defense in common

    What are you talking about?

Better pound for pound. If they fought at their current weights, Wlad would expose him :good:lol:

Wlad is the Floyd of the Heavyweights but the difference is, Wlad has the power to knock people out!

Yes. In my view he is. Ironically, amazing performers like PBF and Wlad are turning out un-exciting performances cuz they play it safe based on their overwhelming superiority vs their opponents. You could also add Dawson to that list. In a way, I can't really say I blame them.

Why risk defeat when you got a UD assured? On the other hand, such boring fights aren't that good for the sport since 9 out of 10 boxing fans want to see lots of violence and brutality in the fights. That's the way it has been since the Roman gladiatorial fights and is the way it will always be. People like savagery not technicality, except for a very vocal minority of "purists". This is the main reason as to why MMA has taken such a big bite out of boxing's market share: brutality, blood and violence. Hope we'll get Pac-PBF and Wlad-Haye within a year or so since these fights promise to be action fights. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Thank God we still have the Angulos, Pacquiaos, Kirklands, and Darchinyans. Tragically, we lost the Valero dude. Aside from you might think of Valero as a human being, his loss was a terrible loss for the sport of boxing since he embodied the type of fighter the vast majority of people love to watch.

Yes, people do appreciate a 12-round schooling. People do like watching PBF toy around with JMM or SM tearing Pavlik's face open with his surgical-precision punching.

However, what I'm saying is that people like Hagler/Hearns far more.
