Is Floyd top 10 ATG yet?

Hell the **** No 30-40 range !

 

Considering how he does his last four fights I'd consider putting him around 20-25, if generous around the top 20-15

 

I'm no historian, so I can't speak of his all time ranking. However, he's the best fighter I've seen, and I'be been watching the sport for 25 years. He has fought 3 undefeated fighters. All 3 were in their prime when they fought Floyd. All 3 were top 10 p4p fighters according to The Ring. All 3 lost in one sided fashion. It's really amazing that he's been able to stay at the top of the sport for so long, without taking a loos, across 5 divisions. And while people talk about his lack of comp., he's defeated 19 wold champions, and several HOFers.

 

Yes i have him in my top 10, in terms to abilty and skill no way you could name 10 guys better, you can argue others have beaten more quality fighters, but not in the one sided clinical fashion floyd does time and time again, i hate the man and would love to see him beaten but last night made me realize just how far ahead of everyone else he is

 

Skills are one thing but if your testing your skills against guys who aren't even close to your class how can you be ranked so high ? The top guys are ranked based on who they fought not who they hand picked ! Huge difference ...

 

By the time he's been retired a few years and people look back on his career and realise what a massive hole has been left in the sport, he will be ranked top 10 I think

 

He's an authentic ATG of all weight classes. There is too many great fighters in the top 10 like Marciano to put him there , but he is a great.

 

Apart form Pac, who SHOULD he have fought and when?

OK let me ask you this ,who did he beat to even put him in the top 20 ? And lets talk caliber of opponents..

 

No but he's a top 25 ATG. If he finishes his career at 50-0 he will be a top 15 to 20 ATG. No one can be ranked higher because guys ranked in the top 15 are held in higher regard than this era.

 

I don't know where he is in the list, I haven't seen enough of the ATG to comment. I'm just asking who you feel he should have faced?

 

One thing we acually can agree on is that Floyd is an ATG.
