Is Floyd waiting for Pacquiao's prime years to go away ?

Floyd is "****ing" himself, If anything.
So, IMO NO! he ain't waiting for Pac to runout.

 

Roy jones is a good example.
Although mayweather has better fundamental skills than Roy so he doesnt have to rely quite as heavily on reflex and athleticism

 

Both fighters styles dont go well with longetivity the only ones losing out the longer the fight takes are the fans.

 

I thought that was because after hatton he moved up to face inhousefighter cotto ( bob arum likes win/win)after that negotiations with floyd were still going on and then mosley made a deal with berto. floyd negotiations fell through so clottey fight got made( another win/win for big bob) after that a earthquake hit haiti, mosley confronting floyd he was in the corner therefore fought mosley and beat him easily. after that pac/marg (bob w/w) already made after floyd lost "the urge" so not a option now.

 

hatton got beaten by floyd at the weight where he was ****. hatton returned to 140, got shaky against lascano but still dominated him. you failed to say that he dominated the #1 ranked LWW in malignaggi then with floyd sr. as his coach.

hatton, oscar, clottey and cotto are much better opponents than a blownout featherweight at welterweight who floyd still cheated at the scales and an old, inactive and a confirmed shot mosley.

pac could have fought marquez a third time but its better for him to move up in weight and fight oscar and hatton to get some mainstream recognition.

hatton was **** at 147 where floyd beates him and it shows when he struggles agaisnst collazo. pac beats hatton at 140 where he is undefeated and lineal.

the biggest fight in boxing that time was pac-mayweather already but floyd fought jmm instead of pac. pac is willing to wait for floyd against jmm but floyd acted like he injured his ribs to prolong pac's wait so pac has no choice but to fight cotto, the guy floyd ducked back in 2008.

floyd has carefully chosen his opponents and his last two opponents have an average of 37.5 years. it took pac only in his 2nd year to fight an elite welter in cotto where it took floyd 5 years to fight one in mosley who was confirmed shot by the time after his mora performance.

now floyd wants pac to slow down before thinking of fighting him and get his urge back.
