is Floyd's bad boy image an inherited or natural instinct?

That doesnt click to his followers...people just like him cuz he can fight his ass off and he's tough in that ring!

 

I do not think that he is that tough compared to other boxers. He is just smart in choosing his opponents. Tough fighters does not avoid the best at any time.

 

I think most boxing fans recognise his ability in the ring and know that they are watching one of the most gifted fighters of the era and a top all time P4P fighter.

Most Floyd fans like that he is brash, loud and in your face.

 

I totally dissagree..He always fights number 1,2, & 3..He fights thes strong guys that can destroy him with one punch, yet he walks them down without even getting touched..Brilliant champion!

 

I agree that he fights good fighters. C'mon Baldomir couldnt destroy anyone with one punch:?

 

I think his badboy image is half actually himself and half trying to sell fights. If floyd wasn't a jack ass outside of the ring, I don't think he would be able to sell as many PPVs as he does.

 

Sadly, nowadays, 1,2,3 isn't always the best

In some cases...Yes..But I hate how People complained about him fighting Ortiz...Ortiz was number 3 behind him and Manny..Who was he supposed to fight Berto The Victim?, The number 4 fighter?..No fight the best in the division like Ortiz!

 

I've always thought that the real nasty persona he displays is a marketing technique, from that perspective the man's a genius. Hundreds of thousands of people pay good money to see him LOSE, add that to his solid fan base and you have a money making machine.

 

i dont care what he does outside the ring , that doesnt concern me, and it should concern anyone , i mean as long as he isnt a terrorist or molesting kids,

i like him solely off his boxing ability, i think people that hold on to his lifestyle are just finding a reason to hate him, because its not like they can say he has losses in the ring.

 

It was inherited, if you look at all his old interviews, he was calm, respectful and very well spoken, he didn't start becoming Money May until HBO decided to start discrediting his victories, and claim he was a duck artist, and semi rooting for Floyds opponents to upset him, which started around the Gatti fight. Seeing how much the new persona worked for him, he ran with it, of course with the aide and guidance of Schaefer and ODH

 

Tough fighters dont duck any fighter like Pacquiao.
