Is Floyd's win over Ortiz enough to overtake Martinez at P4P #2?

Forget P4P #1. The real question is whether or not Floyd has done enough last Saturday to overtake Martinez as PFP #2 or even Donaire as PFP#3. Both fighters have dominated their divisions and would it be fair for Floyd to take the #2 or #3 spot from them?

I guess this will be the same question that will be asked by the Ring board when they update their P4P ranking next week -- Has Floyd done enough in the Ortiz or was his win against Ortiz worthy enough for him to overtake Donaire and Martinez?

Let's compare their fights since 1999 (the year when Floyd came back from retirement) and compare their best three wins during that period:

Martinez - Dzinziruk, Williams, Pavlik, Williams (MD), Cintron (D)
Donaire - Marquez, Sydorenko, Montiel, Martinez, Concepcion
    Floyd - Marquez, Mosely, Ortiz

    Martinez vs. Floyd
    Williams > Mosely
    Pavlik > Ortiz
    Dzinziruk < Marquez

    Advantage: Martinez (2-1)

    Donaire vs. Floyd
    Montiel > Mosely
    Sydorenko = Ortiz
    H. Marquez < Marquez
    Advantage: Tie.
However, I give the slight edge to Donaire because of activity.

    My P4P Ranking:

    1. Manny Pacquiao
    2. Sergio Martinez
    3. Nonito Donaire
    4. Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Yes..The level of skill he has shown throughout his career is stupid...He was making Ortiz look dumb until Ortiz lost his mind and paid for it..

I'd put Floyd at the 2 spot...arguably the 1 spot...

Pacquiao has not fought an opponent coming off a GOOD win since he fought Cotto almost 2 years ago..

Floyd at the 1 spot or 2 spot is arguably where he should be.

He is number #1. Very little doubt about that considering bookies will have him at 2 to 1 on Pac if a fight is announced.

No point in debating because the most popular opinion of Eastside General Forum members is clearly the right one, beyond debating.

    The way I see it.

I put Manny at number 1, but nobody beats Floyd 154 and down including Manny

If you can't name a fighter who can beat Floyd then you don't know **** about boxing. :hey There's a reason why Floyd is afraid of Pac. There is a reason why Sr is afraid of Pac. There is a reason why Roger said fighting Pac is crazy. And don't come back at me saying "take the test" coz that alone proves how much of a threat Pac is. :yep
