as it relates to defense. Defense is the most overlooked aspect I think. People on here assume because Mattysse stopped Peterson, he would stop Floyd or Pacman. As though those guys would be in the path of those punches. He still has to hit them, and hitting them and stopping them will be harder than stopping Peterson.
:deal Footwork is very underrated in the sport today. I love watching boxers with great footwork. Hopkins, Ward, Rigo, PBF and JMM all have exceptional footwork and are a joy to watch.
Two fellow ATGs were able to neutralize it, that's it. They have the advantage of Pac always leading.
footwork is and jabbing is HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!! understand spacing is important....notice rigo, hop and PBF spacing in their fights... they're was in position to score and not get hit back i love toney footwork also
Sloppy but with purpose and more effective than many fighters' footwork. It's what enables his ATG offense.
