Does LSC HAVE TO fight Carl next? Or can he fight who he wants? Im unclear as to where things stand? A lot of people seem to be assuming that fight is going ahead. But remember Kiko gazzumped Frampton and got to Romero first. Could someone like Quigg beat him to a fight with LSC?
LSC has defended his WBC title twice now, I'm not sure if either have been mandatory defences (I've checked articles for both and I can't see in any of them stating they were mandatory defences) however u would think if they ordered the eliminator with Caz they must have in mind a mandatory defence sooner or later The way the WBC bends over backwards for fighters of Mexican decent is worrying tho they would prob do everything to protect him for as long as possible I do find it hilarious that every time Frampton either calls out a fighter or goes down a mandatory route Quigg and smoking Joe start to jump all over the same names bit sad really

I know LSC is keen on the fight himself personally - and it would be a career high purse, no doubt....but as I say can anybody shed any light on the "mandatory" aspect????

I think he can take a voluntary but i don't think he will, He seems to want to move on in his career and knows he won't beat at SBW for long, don't think LSC feels like having another defense before a Frampton fight? Could be wrong of course but just seems to me LSC wants a big fight.
Hearns said that LSC nexted defense is aloud be a voluntary, but i think he was only saying this to make Framptons team feel like that he could get Quigg the fight before Frampton if he wanted to. But theres not a hope Hearns is going to put Quigg in the ring with LSC not while he can still milk his paper title. I think LSC is really up for the frampton fight and it will happen next
Kiko got the Momo fight cause everybody thought he was sweet for the picking after the Frampton KO. It was suposed to be an easy voluntary defense but... :deal
I agree, they both seem ready for it at this point in their careers and it should be an awesome fight. One of the fights I'm relishing the most this year :happy
