Is Frazier-Foster the best example of swarming pressure fighting on film?

Foster landed maybe 2% of the landed blows in this fight. He was a big hitter himself but if foster lands only about 2% of the total he’s not making that much impression because even the biggest hitters need to be landing more often to make enough perfect connections to be a factor.

Frazier was so red hot he was making a much higher ratio of "perfect connections" that night.

with that kind of ratio even though foster has reach and height on frazier he is not making an impression even if had of been heavier.

 

Frazier really shut Foster out in this one, utter annihilation.

 

Foster also said he started lacing up his boots in the dressing room after the fight was over.....his manager had to tell him he had been knocked out earlier.

 

My issue with Joe killing Bob back in '70 is, Joe was a good 20+ solid pounds of muscle bigger than Bob..... Is it a shock that Joe went through Bob like a hot knife through butter?

Ali had 10 lbs on Frazier, and there was Ali out bouncing around on the canvas.

 

Ali went down, but not out...... Plus, Ali was right there next to Frazier in the end after rd. 15.....

Foster was seeing stars inside rd. 2 for Amon-Ra's sake.......

Bobs land ratio was like 2%, he should have had the edge in speed. Its not like frazier had to walk through ANYTHING since joe was beating bob to the punch from the off. had Foster have been bigger, maybe he absorbs more shots for longer but with his bell being rung so often it was always going to be a beating. You cant build up a chin.
