Is Freddie Roach overrated?

    As a fighter he is completely shot. Reflexes gone. As a trainer he deserves every good thing people have said about him. You can only accomplish so much for so long and he made it to the top. It's probably not his fault the Khan never learned to fight inside and who knows why he had another off night.

    He is a pressure fighter. It's best not to change the script too much. Look at what happened to Hatton. When he started boxing well he looked like Pernell Whitaker against b level guys and like car accident victim against the best. He would have been better off sticking with the pressure.

    He fed his boxer to an infighter without giving him any inside game of what so ever.

    Roach is a great trainer, but I dont think he can keep up anymore, and pride should not stop him from understanding that hit-and-run not is the upper limit for boxing skill.

    Overrated. Not much is left without Pacquiao.
