This guys is the one that jumped up and got wet when Oscar asked him to train him for the Mayweather fight, putting Manny second place.

Now after working with both very close and knowing that DLH is bigger, more powerful, and can potentially hurt Pac very bad with a series of left hooks or perhaps just one, he is tellin Pac he could beat DLH and even KNOCK him OUT!

Is Roach making Pac believe he can win because he wants another Trainer Mega Pay Day? I can't see how an expert, professional, and experienced trainer could actually believe this. I'm lead to believe he is selling Manny out for a Mega Pay day.

Not only do I believe that's right, I think Freddie's still packin' a hard-on over the fact DLH took Floyd Sr. back for the 2pound fight.

Very good question, one of the best posts- Pac is surrounded by hangers, he is too nice and not in control of his own destiny. Roach knows Pac has only a couple of fights left. I dont want to see Pac get really hurt as is likely

Well, Pac is asking for the 170,000 dollars in penalty fees for every pound Hoya goes over 147. He's got his mind on the seriousness of what could happen. I'm sure if Hoya does not give in to the demand the fight will not be made. Against Forbes Hoya weighed 150.5 and did not have to take the fight night weigh in. He had more time to prepare for the Forbes fight.

It's no secret that Roach gets a percentage from PAC's purse. Let's say 10% or $2M from the $20M purse but look at what's left for PAC, it's $18M (not accounting yet the other cuts).

Now which one you want to have $2M or $18M? I mean it's not solely for Roach's financial gain, everybody on Team Pacquiao will benefit it with PAC as the major beneficiary.

    Arum isn't a trainer, he's a promotor.
Roach needs to be put in his place.
    Crack the whip, Manny.

I have no doubt that Manny feels the same as Roach....the two are basically best friends so imo Roach is probably continuously telling Manny "you can do it man, you can beat him. He can't handle your speed, etc" and Manny is buying into it all :-(

Roach knows that Pac only have about 3-5 good fights left for him. If Pac fight Hoya he will be getting pay like 3 good fights so win or lose Roach is set. Yea I feel Roach is selling Pac out.

No. If anything Roach is selling Oscar out. He trained Oscar and then turned around and said Oscar can't get off his punches anymore, Pac will beat him. He's definately not selling out Pac.

$170,000 is like $170 to Oscar De La Hoya.
