Ward's fans: at the end of the day, Ward is going to win the tournament. The winner of the tournament is the #1 SMW. That would be Ward.

    Green's gans:
at the end of the day, Green is going to win the tournament. The winner of the tournament is the #1 SMW. That would be Green.

Bute's fans: if Bute was in the tournament, he would win it, so he is the #1 SMW.

    See the point?

I thought you were dumb only on the Bute's threads. I see you can make it on any thread. Glad to share your dumbness with others.

Dumb? Because I'am picking Dirrell to win the Super Six? A lot of people said I was dumb for picking Dirrell to box Abraham's socks off, too. We all seen how right I was.:D

If Froch wins against Kessler, we will have to reevaluate Kessler!

I wouldn't protest if Froch was #1 after a win against Kessler. That's not done.

Right now the ranking is something like:

    1: Froch or Ward.
    2. Kessler and Bute.
    3. Dirrell and Abraham.

But they are all quite close.

If Froch beats Kessler then there is absolutely no reason to not have Froch as the clear no. 1.

Froch will have the better wins, and the most wins - and noone has any dispute.

No doubt ! Im only messing with you

Froch got the win it was close and he probably didnt deserve the win but the fact is the judges gave him it

You should probably be glad , losing that fight snapped him out of most of his bad / negative habits and ( i think ) directly contributed to the pasting he gave Abraham.

it was one of them "good losses "

    That may happen..

But right now, Dirrell is one of the ones with the least claim of no. 1.

Im willing to bet tho that whoever wins out of Froch and Kessler there will be a big backlash on here about how the beaten fighter sooked and isnt a worthy win in comparision to the others in tournement.

    Exactly this.

Boxing isn't about looking super skillfull, its about winning fights. Froch wins fights.

As far as I've read, ANY loss = 0 points. They're not going to give Abraham -1 point because the loss was by DQ. Or are they/did they?:think

Edit: No, they did not give Abraham -1 for the DQ.

How? He beat the favorite to win. EVERY "expert" picked Arthur Abraham to win the whole thing. Dirrell gave him a boxing lesson. Dirrell should be undefeated with decision wins over Abraham and Froch.

Of course he is mate. Because on (allbeit brilliant) win over an Abraham who essentially untested it the weight means that no one can argue with you there.
