Is Froch Delusional ?

Who knows what Froch actually believes. What he knows, however, is that he's got a very limited window as a pro to make enough money to carry him for the rest of his life. He literally has to talk big, create a spectacle, in order to sell seats and ppv. He wants Froch v Kessler to be the biggest fight in European boxing history, I'm sure.

 

Yes, there is a sense of delusion spilling into Froch's spiels.

now the dirrell and froch both faught bums. also isn't it funny when he says he is the "complete" boxer?? he is as 1 dimensional as u get. dirrell beat him end of story

 

I'm not a shrink, but I truly believe that Froch is tragically insecure. He knows that he only won a vacant title and that he will always live in the shadow Joe Calzaghe. I mean, really, it had to be a major blow to his ego when Joe said he wasn't worth fighting. Since that time, I'm sure everyone has noticed that Froch has been ratcheting up the trash talk in a desperate attempt to conceal his insecurities. His post fight interview after the Dirrell fight was pure gold. He said he thought he won every round 1 through 12 and he refused to give his opponent any create at all. He also strangely singled out that "Mexican judge" for having the audacity to score the fight against him. So, to answer your question...yes, he's delusional and terribly insecure. Not even his hot girlfriend will fix that.

 

Exactly! The more people that watch/attend the fight, the more money he gets, do people not realise this?!

i would 've agreed with this post maybe 3 fights ago but since he has beaten Pascal knocked out taylor and edged Dirrell....to the people who had Dirrell winning (it was a close fight either way) and Dirrell is a stylistic nightmare for Froch....its hard to slate a man achieving that especially with his lack of tools

I think all these threads popping up are just us fans being impatient that these world level guys cannot just outbox this guy over the 12.

Lets all take a positive from this ....hes fighting Kessler next and surely that will be settled before the full 12.

Froch has been delusional for years. Dont forget he was convinced he deserved to get in the same ring as Calzaghe, not to mention believing he thought he could actually mix it with him.
