- I hope groves does improve from last fight as he lost it, got dragged into a war and lost - If froch doesnt take a massive punch in round 1 it will be a very different fight - Did you not see groves's face after the first fight, it was like a bit of meat out of rocky How can you land 50 plus power punches and not stop froch....its a smoke screen groves is worried
I'm not to sure how it's going to go. I think we know what we are going to get from Froch, it all depends on Groves's strategy.
Froch will be taking massive shots from the first bell to the end. I see him hitting the deck a few times. I'm going big on a GG stoppage 4 weeks away? I can't wait for it
It's a pick'em fight for me. Almost all the physical factors are with Groves: speed, technique, tactical flexibility, one-punch power. Froch perhaps has more stamina but his main gift is less tangible: bloody-minded refusal to know when he's beaten... plain old gumption. I suspect Froch won't get caught early again and this one will be "in the trenches" from an early stage. The outcome will depend whether Groves keeps his head and maintains a disciplined fight-plan, or whether Froch drags him into a brawl (or if Groves is daft enough to go along with one). Which scenario is more likely..... God knows. Groves seems as relaxed and cheeky as last time. The Rubiks cube was a cool way of showing how little attention he feels Froch warrants, which might bode well for him repeating the best aspects of his last performance - cool and intelligent but without the late loss of discipline. But, Froch seems insanely focussed; I just cannot envisage him getting caught cold so easily again. He could make it a far harder for Groves than last time just by keeping his hands up a bit more...
In my view Groves got complacent in the first fight around 6 and 7, which allowed Froch some success leading to better rounds in 7 and 8. Can't remember Groves getting battered all over like, but were certainly better rounds for Froch. If Groves keeps his head, doesn't get ****y, he can win this with a few strategies.
:cool Surely Froch and his team have learned from the first fight to move away from that right hand of Groves, at least for the first few rounds, after which Groves will become tired and Carl will then apply pressure and come on strong as he did in the first fight. If the team have not worked out a tactic to negate George's right hand then it's going to be a bad night for the Cobra,
You really are a sausage First time groves landed clean, Carl suffered the biggest knockdown of his career and got up on wobbly legs. His boots were smoking Compare that to GG taking frochs best shots and he's still on his feet throwing shots back and moving. Groves is clearly the bigger puncher. GG will remind you of this fact may 31st
I dont think froch landed that cleanly in the first to be honest, and groves was still wobbled. If Froch lands like groves did in the 1st round its good night GG
Froch won't land clean on GG. He telegraphs his punches and you can see then coming. A mile away. Quick bit of movement and it turns into a scuff shot
Exactly how i see it, Its a 50/50 fight and is going to be very interesting on the outcome. Personally I,m going for a Froch ko win but wouldn`t be surprised if groves won . I may be slightly biased by me not liking Groves and the way he conducts himself. Cant wait till fightnight and looking forward to my 1st visit to Wembley:rasta
