That is a fair point but Groves isn't daft. Hes a very clever lad and will not adopt them tactics in the rematch. This will be a boxing lesson for Froch, coz lets get it right. He can't box

Look mate Im a froch fan when he fights foreigners and I'm still a fan of him now he's never in a dull fight. However GG is also from these shores and stylistically he appeals more to me hence me rooting for GG in this fight and the previous fight. He has the bigger skillset and that's what I love to watch in a fighter.

What facts do you speak of? 'TKO9'? That was never a legit win.
Froch going on to stop GG is not 'fact'

You can't bear to hear anyone critique your man froch. He's a poor boxer technically that is a fact.

Not long now until round 2 anyway I think your be very quiet on these boards when GG stops Carl

TKO 9 is a fact though and will be in the history books. Just because you don't like the manner in which it happened is irelevant. Its a fact and you have to deal with it, and as I said GG could have been blasted out of there anyway so its all relative.

GG may beat Froch, if he does then fair play, but its these idiots saying Froch has no chance that make me laugh... He has a good chance and will show people you need more then boxing skills in this business to be a champ....I'm looking forward to seeing GG in the trenches again

Illegitimate wins may be in the history books but nobody forgets the manner of the robbery
Froch has a chance obviously but i think GG will take another step up this time...

Groves is going to box Froch's head off. I just can't see how Froch can win, they say speed kills and George Groves has speed, timing and power. Plus, I think that last fight will of taken a lot out of Froch, he was getting battered up until that shocking stoppage and was fighting off adrenaline. Froch keeps saying Groves was ****ed after 7 rounds and he was but so was Froch. He's been in a lot of wars throughout his career and is 36, definitely think he'll be worse than what he was in the first fight.

It's still going to be a great fight though.

Groves is going to have to go to the trenches to beat Froch, not so sure he wants to go there

So people are buying into the excuse that Froch didn't take him seriously last time. Ok then...

Personally I think it's extremely unlikely, you don't get to where Froch is in his career by taking your opponents lightly. It's much more likely imo that Froch was just outboxed at times in the 1st fight because Froch can be outboxed by good, quick boxers. Froch was dropped in the 1st fight because Froch can be tagged and Groves is a decent counter puncher with real power. Nothing to do with not taking him seriously etc.

If anyone will perform better in the rematch than they did in the 1st fight, I think it will be Groves. He's younger and less experienced so he has more room for improvement. Froch is unlikely to get much better at this age and quite likely to get worse. The things Groves has to improve on are also easier to do. He mainly just has to use slightly different tactics whereas Froch needs to improve his speed and defensive skills.

I doubt much will change from the 1st fight tbh. Groves will still be the faster boxer with better movement and dangerous power. Froch may or may not be able to overcome that with his chin, stamina and mental and physical toughness. Still a pick'em fight.

I can't pick a winner. It all depends if Groves can execute his game plan over 12 rounds

They both will improve for this fight simply because they must learn from their mistakes, froch will improve by being more cautious this time around by not rushing in/engaging too much so not to get tag as much. Groves will just have to do similar and pick his shots like he did and dont go in a swinging match then he should win via points or tko.

Froch will not be too confident because he now knows groves is quality and much quicker than him, cannot hang on to the fact that he won the 1st fight, only success he has were in the 9th. Groves will be much more confident as he knows he can win this by boxing smartly. Big money will be on groves for me.

Do us all a favour and fcukoff.

But before you go please explain why Groves didn't win the first fight ?

"think he'll be worse than what he was in the first fight"

Didn't you learn how to speak English at school ?

I had the rematch as 50/50 but am becoming more confident that Froch will do it.
