Is Froch showing Kessler to much respect??

Form points to Froch.

 

imo in most of frochs fights in this tounament, kessler, ward, dirrell, obviously taylor, it will depend on can they get carl out of there faster than he can wear and club them down beating the fight out of them, thing is in kesslers case i think he might be able to hit froch flush a few too many times and stop him. kessler might even find froch easier to deal with than taylor and ward. AA is the interesting one, will he get beaten by workrate alone and facing a higher class or did 160 slow him down so much and hes going to fight people who actually will come to win and thus probably exchange with him?

as for the respect thing, i think both these are decent respectful lads and will bring it 100% no matter what the outside situation

 

Depending on how the tournament is set up, I reckon Kessler will meet Abraham in the final, with Kessler winning on points.

Froch is all wrong for Kessler, and Kessler will just dominate him from start to finish. Frochs heart and endurance wont do him any favours in this match up, though Froch did surprise me in the Taylor fight. I thought he'd lose a wide UD there.

 

I agree Pecks but don't forgot Taylor was infront on the scorecards coming into the last 2rds.

 

If Mr. Froch pulled out of a fight against the seemingly invincible Kessler, then Carl would only just be showing Kessler enough respect.

 

Froch wont make the final.

 

Froch aint stupid and he is well aware how good Kessler is, just giving his honest opinion like he always does.

Toughest fight in the tournement for Kessler is Ward imo, styles being what they are.

 

He was the same towards JT- very respectful. The only time he ran his mouth before that fight was when he was tyalking about the performance he was going to put on against him. He never once shot JT down personally so it comes as no suprise that he hasn't done it to Kessler either.

A mention of Calzaghe brings out a totally different kind of Froch, though.

 

Froch is telling it how it is.

"Kessler is a fighter i respect and one of the best fighters in my division"

"Khan can maybe win a world title, if he does not get hit on the chin"

I think it's good that he's meeting someone he has respect for, as he had zero for Taylor who gave him his sternest test.

It's a good thing imo.

Im not concerned with Ward or Dirrell. Just Kessler and Abraham.

I think Andrade is as tough as Froch prob tougher and Kessler handled him easily (not better just more sturdy), I think Keesler is all wrong for Froch.

Will be a good scrap though, thats why you gotta love Froch cos win lose or draw he's gonna make a fight of it.

 

What if both the finalists are beaten by the same guy but that guy loses to one who loses five? Thats going to be a bit naff

 

He's just giving an opinion. He's often asked 'Who is the biggest threat?' so what is he supposed to do but make an honest assesment? It's an opinion based in reality.

 

I'd be very surprised if one of the Americans didn't make it to the final.
