Hagler came nowhere near to taking the kind of shots that Froch has had to take over time.

a few shots against Hearns, and a few here and there against others. Froch has proven with out a shadow of a doubt. time and time again. Hagler never came close. :deal

Toney also never got hit that much because of his defence. he proved to have a great chin, no doubt. but he's never had to prove it like Froch has.

you're right on the money with Eubank. Chris took plenty of fight ending bombs and remained standing.

Froch is a ATG punching bag

 

Froch has a granite jaw that is/was of the same standard as guys like Kessler and Calzaghe. Maybe it is worsening now though. He was all over the place a few times and I still think he was probably more likely to end up getting stopped than Groves with a fair ref. The last few rounds would have been epic.

 

Its one of the best of this generation, without a doubt

GGG, well, he couldn't KO Rosado, Rosado is far inferior to Froch, chinwise or any other attribute comparison, so forgive me if I am skeptical to the notion that GGG would somehow walk through Froch

How can frochs granite be rated so highly... Yes, his powers of recovery are up there... But the guy has been decked. By jermain taylor and groves. Has been stopped in the ameteurs.

Was buzzed up by dirrell and stiffened up several time by kessler and pascal. The guy has a great chin but its not the best ever. He did that same stumble backwards after getting up that khan did against garcia. Khan then lasted another whole round and fired back some of his own... Does that make his chin as good as frochs?

Froch was close to be knocked out, i doubt he would have survived if there was another minute left in the round. Anyone who is closed to being knocked out in one punch can't be an ATG.

Margarito had an ATG chin. He took SEVERAL huge right hands from shane mosely and then after eight rounds was dropped after a barrage. Froch was put down with single punches by both groves and taylor.
