I appreciate the apology. I totally get what you are saying, but it’s still a part of the sport and it’s not the first time and won’t be the last. Many fighters have fought in compromising positions. Look at Morales vs Maidana. Round one that eye was shut. And even though Morales got the official loss, I think he won. We won’t come to a full agreement but mostly I appreciate you owned it.
You haven’t bothered to go looking man. There’s literally whole threads on here of people denigrating the guy. Be as ignorant as you like but the evidence is freely available.
As I said, he has a very small number of haters. If he makes the crossover I'm sure he'll then have more haters as the more popular boxers always do.
Not even close. Sure, the blood played a factor, but all in all, a fairly minor one. Tim and his corner had plenty of opportunities to pull him from the fight and they didn't. If the blood in his eyes was that much of an issue, to the point where it wasn't competitive anymore and it had turned into a one sided beatdown, they probably would have. But no, TIm remained a live dog in the fight, landing his fair share of solid shots in almost all of the remaining rounds. Meanwhile, God only knows how badly compromised Fundora was, his nose was bleeding profusely and most likely going down his throat, he could have been both nauseous and light headed from the swallowed blood and loss of blood and lack of air. No one seems to even want to acknowledge that. Sure, Tim was having a lot of success in the first two rounds, and won them soundly by landing some heavy straight rights. But think about it, even in those two rounds, Fundora was trying to get his jab on track and having some success with it. Then comes the third, Tim and Fundora are both a bloody mess, and then what happens? Fundora goes on the attack and hurts Tim momentarily. From that point on, Tim knowing Fundora could hurt him, immediately became noticeably skittish and started keeping his hands at home a lot more. Which was exacerbated not by the blood in his eyes, but due to an adjustment that Fundora made. Fundora finally tried a little something called defense and gave Tim absolute fits with his head movement. He started to both ride with his rights and then started slipping them entirely, and immediately countering Tim's attacks. Tim's speed was still there, but the difference was, his target wasn't a sitting duck anymore. Fundora also started controlling the range and working him with his jab like a metronome. So it's not like Tim wasn't doing the exact same thing the rest of the fight that he was doing in the first two rounds, he was. It wasn't like he lost speed. He lost accuracy, and that's not because he couldn't see the target, it was because Fundora became a far more elusive target. Tim could never properly adjust to his adjustments, and that's the primary reason why he lost. He saw his head and was still throwing rights at it repeatedly, he simply never adjusted the trajectory and aim for where the target will end up.
Only time and more fights will tell. Most people were familiar with Tszyu. Fundora, not so much. First fight I see him in, and he looks impressive, but how will his career pan out? I don't know. I will say this though. When they announced the fight and I saw how tall he was, I had vibes he could be a spoiler.
Why would Fundora's issues be acknowledged in this context? Fundora was bleeding profusely because Tszyu banged him up. Tszyu was bleeding profusely because of an accidental elbow. If you don't understand the difference then there not much I can tell you pal.
Who gives a **** why or how? They both had injuries and were both compromised. Fundora dealt with his issues a lot better than Tim did, which is why he won and Tim lost. Deal with it, you salty crybaby.
You're a disingenuous mug. Did you not actually see Tszyu trying to wipe blood out of his eyes in EVERY SINGLE ROUND from 3-12? Are your eyes painted on? You continue to claim that the cut to Tim's head had little impact on the fight. That is demonstrably false.
You might be the most annoying person on this site. Tim lost, the injury didn't cause that loss. Not being able to adjust did. I see you didn't argue any of my actual points. Get a grip, you hysterical ninny.
I don't get how anyone can compare injuries that were caused by punches to injuries that were caused by an accidental elbow. If Fundora had a broken nose that meant that Tszyu was doing his job well and it only took him two rounds to inflict such damage showing how dangerous he is.
If you made a point that was worth arguing with, I'd argue it. But for all of the flowery sentences you really don't say very much that is either informative or interesting.
