I don't think I've seen anyone who is head of a division that actively avoids fighting all of the other top competition. The Ruiz deal fell through due to Furys obsessive money demands, he seems not to want to fight Joshua and is outright afraid of Usyk. He is willing however to take on guys who are sub-elite like Whyte or retired like Chisora, matches no one wants to see. All the retiring/unretiring is also rather annoying and doesn't help his case.

Yeah, nothing screams heavyweight champion more than his record, which if we sum it up,

    -beat an old Wladimir
    -beat Wilder 3 times
-seemingly burned his bridges with fighting the current top guys due to money demands
-future match prospects seem to only involve sub-elite/retired fighters
-good at name calling on Twitter

Not only is it a very weak resume, but even worse is that there is nothing to look forward to because as said, he seemingly burned his bridges with the guys who people want to see him fight and only wants to fight lower ranking competition. I don't know if I'd go so far as to calling him a disgrace to the division as that might be harsh, but he is certainly a big letdown and seems to be losing fans every day the more he keeps pulling these antics.

If he can't bring himself to make matches because he keeps sabotaging his chances on purpose, then he should do his audience a favor and retire.

He retired after whyteleafe then came back to fight USKY, then when USKY publicly ducked citing injury fury called out beltless three losses in five mentally shot AJ, who predictably ducked the big man just like he ducked wilder Ortiz Hrgovic Joyce and papa ZHANGO to name but a few.

Fury sold that fcking dog of a chisora III fight on the back of BRUTHA USKYS name, that undisputed was supposedly a done deal for feb march.. until it wasn’t. USKY added a one million pound peacekeeping donation war fund demand at the last minute and wanted 70:30 in his favour in the rematch.

Both men are to blame for that one not panning out, but if they don’t get it over the line with that filthy Saudi blood money in December; fury has to go down in history as the man who DUCKED the feather fisted midget who’s toughest test at heavy was shot old delboy chisora.

    legacy souring stuff.

You are simply delusional. The rest of the entire world knows now that he is afraid of losing to Usyk, which I knew the night of "Usyk can suck my balls." There was fear in his eyes and panic in his voice.

Wlad was magically not old anymore after he almost chinned AJ, 2 years later. Fury beats any age Wlad and he'll stop Usyk in 2 rounds.

If he makes the doubleheader happen in saudi in december, then I think people will forgive fury regardless of the outcome of the fight. If it doesn't happen though, and he just winds up retiring 3 more times and fighting a few more worthless bums for easy paydays, then hopefully the boxing historians treat him as the joke that he is.

I guess we are just going to have one of these every five weeks until Fury really retires.

his cucks have gone from ''hes the greatest ever'', to ''hes not as bad as you guys think he is''.
fury has been telling everyone who he is for near a decade. why some keep refusing to listen is an interesting psychological study.

Fury will go down as one of the greatest mental warfare artists in fighting history. No doubt.

"When it comes to the night, they'll have the most charismatic, the most colourful, the most controversial champion since Muhammad Ali and that's what the world has been waiting for,"

If I'm not the man to fill those boots, they'll be waiting a whole lot of time more because all I see is robots. The world needs me to change the landscape of the division."

Fury has always ducked any challenge where he didn't have a huge age and or size advantage. Heard ABBA was changing Dancing Queen to Ducking Queen in honor of Fury.
