No, son, those fights you mention don't matter that much.

    Maybe Wilder...

    Maybe not.

Wilder would have been sparked by Povetkin but he ducked him.

If the big Gypsy avoids Usyk for ANY reason, that's a duck.

We are at a point for the first time in a long time, where we can determine who is the best man of the top four.

WE have the two two-time daddies of the other two top dogs, and all we need is a contract and a date.

Usyk is up for it...demanding it.

Fury is my current favourite boxer in any weight class and would be a very slight favourite IMO, if they meet.

But if he ducks Usyk, that would be a crime against boxing...

    No....a crime against humanity !

I'm confidant that Fury's current output is just so much more of what we love him for....he's a character.

But if he doesn't come through ?

Then the best of the big four is clearly the crazy Ukranian, and history will place him above the Gypsy King.

Sure, but Fury has had offers to unify with Joshua and Usyk numerous times now.

Instead he has clowned around for the most part. I think he knows Usyk will run rings around him and will expose his limitations.

I think Fury thinks its an easy fight but he wants a final pay day.

The blok a many things but saying he is scared of Usyk is ****ing stupid. Usyk will literally be running away from Fury the whole fight when they get in the ring.

If he can't get 500million how else can he pay to get into heaven?

    only billionaires get into heaven

Why do you think rich people keep trying to get even richer?

Not scared of Usyk perse - more conscious that the skills, 'fast for a big man' narative he has bullt for his legacy might not stand up against the generational talent & skillset that Usyk brings to the table.

Fury hasn't fought anyone even close to the skillset of Usyk. Wilder has his right hand but his fundamentals are lacking. Wlad was a shell of himself and bizarrely gunshy - I think Fury got inside Wlads head.

Fury is smart, and he has said numerous times that USS Cunnigham was his hardest fight because he struggled to pin him down clean, and he knows just how good Usyk is and how much of a challenge it will be to shut him down.

Usyk is mobile yes, but it's predicated on mobile & lateral offense, i've never seen him run from anyone.

So for Fury, the question might well be what is worse for his legacy - the risk of being "exposed" or "schooled", vs being accused of ducking? I think in the end the latter will irk Fury more because he is a genuine fighting man, and the fight will be made, but you better believe the other stuff is a concern

I'll take an avatar or a month ban bet with you that if it ever happens, Usyk clowns Fury.

I doubt it. But he will try to manipulate the narrative to portray himself as the underdog, such as " coming out of retirement " and other such ****. Maybe we will hear about some mental health issues as well. Pretty weird how Fury was the first boxer to ever suffer from mental illness.

That's the point, Fury has never needed to unify, all the belts were already his.

If Fury wants to retire great. If he wants to fight Usyk even better. I am all for fighters knowing and demanding their value but this £500 million is just irritating. It so out of line with his previous purses and what last weekend fight generated I not sure what he achieves by saying it. It's far too high to even be a negotiating position. It like me putting my 3 bed North London semi on the market for £10million. Joshua public persona is carefully manufactured, Fury is more himself. The problem is the real Fury is a compulsive bullshitter. Great fighter that he is the constant bull**** gets boring.

Fury went from I dont care about money, could live in a councilflat, give money to the homeless to give me 500 mil.

He's either a phony then or a ducker.
    Neirher looks good unfortunately.

14 years in and people are still taking everything Fury says seriously. Unbelievable.

    He will face Usyk.
